I usually don’t eat at food trucks but just by passing by smelled really good so I gave it a try . Let me tell you the tacos were amazing

The food here is good, but the service was extremely disappointing and shady.

I want to warn people to be careful when paying here, especially because they are cash only. Today, the cashier gave me the wrong change. My total was $27, and I paid with $40 — I should have received $13 back, but she only gave me $3. I didn’t notice right away because I was rushing to grab my food and put my money away, but I got a bad feeling because of how she looked at me, so I asked for a receipt. She claimed she couldn’t print one from the register and instead scribbled one down by hand, very messily.

When I realized the mistake, I called them, She didn’t even argue — she just told me to come back so she could give me the missing $10. When I got there, she already had the cash waiting behind the register, which felt very suspicious.

This experience makes me feel like they may be doing this on purpose, hoping customers won’t notice. So please be careful: always count your change and demand a receipt. I’m very disappointed because the food is good, but I won’t be back because I don’t trust the way they handle money.

Whomever was working there before 4 pm today are absolute garbage. A man and a woman. Old asada meat. No cilantro and onions. Everything about it was stale. Si quisira blando, voy adonde estan los gueros.

I have been eating here for the past three years. Their food is always amazing. With a new opening in Northridge mall, I have more options where to eat. 🥰

Writing this after throwing up, experiencing severe abdominal pain, headache, and diarrhea for the second time in 3 days after eating here. I got a carne asada burrito and I kid you not, after 30 minutes - 1 hour of eating, I felt extremely nauseous and ended up throwing the entire burrito up in my toilet. My body rejected it right away.

Fast forward to today, I had left over verde salsa (one small container) from here that I put on a simple chicken, beans, and rice bowl I always have with no issues and a few hours later, same exact deal. Extreme nausea and ending up throwing up everything including water after being perfectly fine in days prior and with the meal I ate earlier on. It’s a shame because I really loved this place, but can never come back after this experience.

Update: I ended up at the ER last night for food poisoning and am currently resting after a horrible night and experience. This might be my last time at a food truck of any kind.

Please test your produce for potential E. Coli or other bacteria and ensure food handlers are properly washing their hands during prep. I pray no other people were impacted if the source was the salsa.

My go to spot for asada fries when I'm in town. The portions, the flavor, everything is on point ?

The tacos, burritos, asada fries and horchata are delicious. I loved the pastor.
