If you are driving near the Bakersfield area and want to eat some great food, head over to Taft. This place has a unique touch on some familiar Asian dishes. People who work there are happy to be of service. You won't be disappointed! Thank you for the wonderful experience. Looking forward to my next drive out there!

It was my first time at Taft, California and my family and I wanted to try something new and we found this restaurant with Thai food and Pizza. We ordered a few soups, fried rice, garlic chicken and a pizza. Everything was great and our server was very nice. If we ever visit Taft again, we will stop at Asian Experience.

Very expensive ($17-$20 for each of our meals). Massaman curry: average. Pad See Ew: Decent. Garlic Delight Chicken: decent. Garlic chicken pizza: almost inedible. Very doughy. Overall we were just shocked that our family of 4 spent over $100 on average food. Granted, we are used to authentic LA Thai food. This was not that. If the portions had been bigger, we likely would have walked away happy. But the portions were not large. I’d say average, which for those prices surprises me. Rice and noodles are cheap- they could have offered more of both. Really feeling the inflation today! Speed of service: good. Wait staff great.

The food was fantastic. Took the express jet to flavor town. I did not anticipated the creative dishes and awesome flavors created by Asian Experience. If ever in Taft, California it's a must that you stop by and try out the coconut chicken soup. One of my favorite restaurants in Cali❤.

Mild, Spicy, Asian Experience. This Thai restaurant brings flavor town to oil city. The Pad Thai is exceptional and you can scale the dish with any heat. The food came out extremely quick but this place can get busy due to its fame.

I think it is a good option if you are in the area. There aren't a lot of choices. The service was friendly and the food was ok. The Pad See-Ew was the best of our order. The Tom Kha Gai was okay but had a lot of filler vegetables which some folks might enjoy. My Rad Nar was okay. I learned the "gravy" is a cornstarch sauce with little body. The noodles themselves were good.

The food is great. It's nice and clean. I was able to bring my husband and a friend to eat here to show off the hidden gem that this place is.

Well this is the first time I returned to Taft in a long long while. I am so glad Asian Experience is just like it was, even more awesome than I remembered . First time for my brother to eat here. He was blown away by the flavor; he said "BEST ORANGE CHICKEN I've had, by far!" The soup was scrumptious. Our server Megan couldn't have been more perfect. What a place to get away from it all and just enjoy a meal that there is no bad turns. :) Thanks again. Sorry no pics. Food looked too delicious to wait and take a pic.

Friends of mine said this place was The Bomb! We decided to try it and we don't agree. We ordered everything with medium spice. Ordered the Tum Yum Chicken soup which was ok. Not very spicy, a little bland, but decent. The Orange Chicken was really good, I'll definitely order that again. Also ordered the Pad Kee Mao with beef. This one was a big disappointment. It looked fabulous!! But it had NO flavor at all! The beef, no flavor. The noodles, no flavor. I took it home to add some spice to it at home. No way I was eating no flavor noodles, just to eat. The place is located in an older building that has lots of charm to it. Way bigger inside than it looks from the outside. There was an older gentleman, that worked there or owned the place, sitting at the bar scrolling through his phone with the volume so loud we could hear it LOUDLY at our table. Seriously!?! Very rude. Headphones or earbuds have been invented for just this particular setting. Not sure this is the place for flavorful Thai food. Orange Chicken, yes. That's about it.

Egg rolls were cold. Our food was brought at the same time as our salad and soup so by the time we got to it COLD. I asked the waitress if she could heat it up. The first thing she said to me was it's cold in here if you don't eat your food right away it gets cold. I reminded her everything came at once. Her reply was you want me to microwave it or what? The iced tea was horrible. The soup and L10 were great.
