Traveling through on way back to Bay Area, saw their sign in Taft and called about WNBA finals. When we rolled up, the owner had the game on with sound. Steak salad was delicious and Mexican Lager is to die for !
Be brave! Get off the damm freeway and eat here! The burgers are delicious and the rib eye is classic! It's totally worth the drive! Taft is full of Old time oil Americana you need to see before it goes away forever!
We went in for lunch on Friday. It wasn’t very busy. The vibe was kind of just blah. There were 3 TVs none of them were on, no music. Right before we left they tuned the TV’s onto the news network. Not really what I’m looking to watch while trying to enjoy lunch at a brewery.The waitress was very nice and made us feel welcome. I’m not a big beer drinker but they seem to have a good variety of their own brews on tap.The menu had many options of sandwiches and Thai food....
