Authentic! Just one word to describe this place! Been coming to Taft the last month for a project and I’ve tried a different plate every time. There is definitely a Mexican Chef at this place! I’ve had the tampiquena, fajitas, carne asada, and albondigas. All great must try….and go for the house specials…..there’s a reason it says specialties! Oh and they have beer on tap!

I would recommend this place, but it isn't a must. The food was pretty good in flavor, but it wasn't like OMG I must have it again. I ordered the enchilada suiza and it came with soup or salad. I got the albóndigas and they too were good.The service was great and fast. I went during lunch and I was done in around 20 minutes. The host and waitress were nice and attentive. Really good service overall.The ambiance was ok. The lighting is a little low and the music sounded like it came from a broken speaker. There wasn't anything amazing that I could point out. Like I mentioned before, I do recommend it but if you're in between this place and another, I would go with the other.

Great service waiter kept checking, making sure everything was good on refills of chips and salsa. He made sure to let us know about the status of our food in the kitchen. Great tasting food, too. I ordered the mocajete Supreme, and the wife got the fajita combo. Both were good , had a lot of flavor, and the price wasn't too bad. I would definitely go back again. Great atmosphere and friendly staffParking: Has parking right outside of the restaurant and across the street from it.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access with wheel chair to get into the building
Best Mexican restaurant in Taft! Their chips and salsa are always fresh and delicious and their service is friendly and fast. I also love that they offer a salad with the your meal! My husband loves their Chile Colorado
