I do have to say, I am deeply offended by the way the employee's who work here bullied and harassed a customer to the point of them removing their honest review. If I was the owner of this restaurant, I would be extremely embarrassed of how my employee/employees handled criticism. EXTREMELY unprofessional. If you cannot handle a simple rating and/or criticism maybe you do not deserve to run a public establishment. I think that this cafe needs to publicly apologize to those poor customers the way the publicly harassed them. I have no words other than being absolutely disgusted by their childish behavior. My review will stand until they decide to do so. I hope that potential customers, former, or existing read this and decide to choose a different place to eat. NOBODY deserves to be treated the way those poor people were treated. I will not and do not condone that kind of behavior. I cant help but to believe that the good ratings they have are only from the people who work there since nobody feels comfortable to leave their honest reviews.

The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was fantastic as well: friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend!

Worst experience ever!! Waitress opened DayQuil to take, GROSS your handling my food if your sick go home!! There was flys everywhere in the kitchen and dinning area, keep landing on our food!! And then we get the bill and it’s 60 dollars for 2 people with simple meals that said they were around 10-14 dollars a piece so how was it 60 dollars?also charged us 2 dollars for Togo containers that we didn’t even use, feels like a rip off!! I forced myself to get sick once we got home because I feared I would get food poisoning if I didn’t!! I Will Never be returning! The Place needs to close their doors…I’m so disgusted!!!!

This restaurant is one my favorites here in Taft, the food is delicious, the service is always great. Of your looking for a hometown cooked meal, this place is it.

This place had a higher rating (by .1) than the other restaurant I was looking at for breakfast. I had the linguica scram. The linguica was cooked to perfection and the entire meal was not greasy (some linguica dishes are). The atmosphere was welcoming and just reminded me of a cafe for locals/regulars. As for the price, I ate a home cooked meal for almost half the price of a fast food place (think golden arches). Thank you to the waitress for being so inviting and kind.

The waffles, sausage, eggs, and hashbrowns were incredible. If you live in Taft or visiting I highly recommend this place for breakfast.
The food was great, perfect hash brown and they are selling online through ditchit platform. Large pan cakes and waffles with blueberry and chocolate chips if you desire.

The cafe seems like it comes from another time. Very classic and rustic, which has its own charm. The guests know each other and the waitress feels like they know everyone. As a tourist you stand out and are spoken to directly. The omelette with vegetables was tasty and the portion size was sufficient. For me the only reason to go to Taft again.
