The search for good beer knows no bounds. This here is great beer. Dan the brewer man knows his stuff and has a great selection on tap. Go and try them ALL!

Incredible, cozy little brewery that is absolutely worth the stop if you're anywhere nearby. Can't believe it took us so long to visit having driven through the area many times.

All the beers we tried were fantastic and we are looking forward to trying others on our next visit. We were driving through and wanted to be responsible and not drink too much.

Dan has an awesome little setup here and it's well worth your time to detour through for a beer when you're in the area.

This place is awesome. Stayed at Death Valley Hot Springs and came here for pizza, beers, and cider. Owner and locals were super friendly and suggested other things to do in the area, which were also fun (China Ranch Date Farm and Cathedral Canyon). For a town of only ~160 people, this is a total hidden gem. Beer was so good we bought two growlers.

MAKE THIS YOUR PIT SPOT. Loved the Beer, people and atmosphere. Wish this was our local brewery since we loved it so much. Wonderful and friendly staff and exactly what you need after a full hard week of hiking in Death Valley (or a prep brew before!) 100/100 recommend coming here we did not want to leave

Absolutely fantastic spot for truly amazing, fresh and unique suds!! I had been going to Tecopa to soak in the hot springs and camp over the past 15 years but only discovered Death Valley Brewing a few years ago. Dan, the brew master and owner is a hoot, always has a fun story to share and if you just chill out and be a fly on the wall you will be guaranteed to hear some funny & interesting stories about life in Tecopa. There are usually over a dozen brews available, and you can also purchase a small growler to take some with you. The cucumber beer was a surprise hit, but I usually go with the tried and true Snakebite IPA! Make sure you check out the wood handle on the tap, rumor has it was carved by the infamous Richard Johnson. 😉

The life blood of Tecopa!!
The SNAKE PIT!!!
Some of the finest beer on the west coast.
One of the best places in the US period to sit down and strike up great conversation with a complete stranger just passin through.
A must stop when in Inyo county.

Though not a big fan of beer the gentleman served me a ginger beer that was surprisingly pretty good. If never tried ginger before. Love the desert vibe and friendly people. I hear the pizza there is really good but end up ordering a BLT from the adjacent kit fox Cafe it was delicious.

The people here are absolutely amazing — some of the best I’ve ever met.
My car got stuck in the mud crust area near the bar, so I went there for help. They took great care of me and even arranged for someone professional to rescue my car.
While I was waiting, I had one of the best beers in the world.
The whole experience at the bar was just incredible.
Absolutely the best place to stop by on your journey through Death Valley

Great place. The owners take a lot of pride in their beers and are happy to answer lots of questions. My husband loved the beer and I loved the freshly made root beer.

This place is a cool hole-in-the-wall kind of place. Great beer! Yummy food next door @ Kit Fox Cafe.

As someone who spends a lot of time in Death Valley and enjoys craft beer, I really wanted to like this place. I'd heard lots of good things about DVB, and I like the quirky layout and location of Tecopa. However, I cannot rate the brewery well. We arrived last weekend to try their beers. I ordered a Winnow Rye (rye pale ale), and it was probably one of the worst beers I've ever had. It tasted like a bad sour, without any flavor suggesting it was a rye or even a pale ale. I drank less than half and had to stop. My conclusion is that the tap lines haven't been cleaned and there was an infection in them that led to the sour flavor. Pretty bad. Additionally, the interior of the bar smelled like vomit, such that we had to retreat to the other room with the pool area to breathe. We had planned to come back to get a growler, but that was off the table after the bad experience. Stovepipe Wells has some decent beers, so if you're in the mood, I'd recommend the Badwater Saloon at Stovepipe instead.

First night in Tecopa, visited the local brewery. What a nice surprise! Had the Imperial Sunrise (Imperial Dry Hopped Red), and the Venusian Blonde (Mountain Rambler Blonde) taste rivals the big boys, very good. BTW, Sunrise produced by Dan and Mike at DV, while the Blonde is a guest beer produced by the other local brewery. THANKS DAN!
