The BEST Ribeye Steak ever, another visit with Eric. My wife and I loved the ribeye, mash/ veggies! Cooked to perfection and with a glaze on the steak as I like to call it to die for! The blue berry cheesecake was outstanding as well! Can't wait to try the date cake, Eric is a top notch Chef!! Well worth the drive from Vegas, Outstanding customer service!

Definitely a place to make a destination to!! I’ve been here 8 times and every time has been on point. The filet (med-rare) is outstanding. This guy knows how to cook a steak. The date cake is awesome!

Got the 5 course pre fix menu. The fruit and cheese plate was crazy. Wasn't sure I ever enjoyed sweet fruit with the texture and flavors of cheese like that before in my life. So good. Then the orchard salad. The greens and the berries and apple were great mix of flavors and textures, but that is the second best vinaigrette that I have had in my life. I am 51. It was delicious. Then came the cream of potato soup. While maybe a little underwhelming visually, the experience when it hit my mouth was like a chemical reaction. I don't even like soup. But I LOVED this soup. After I calmed down a bit, out came the 16 oz ribeye that I shared with my beautiful girlfriend. This thing was prepared perfectly and coated in a balsamic glaze which I hadn't had before but PERFECTLY complimented it. Didn't overwhelm it or distract from the beef at all. The mashed potatoes and root style veggies were outstanding, both in texture and flavors. Was pretty full at this point and we actually saved half of the main entree for breakfast the next day, was a great portion for something so good. Last course was a blueberry cheesecake that was liking eating blueberry butter. Heavenly. I dont even like cheesecake typically, but again I LOVED this. Best meal in a few years. Total adventure for my mouth. Thank you.

Went to the hot spring to skinny dip. someone told me there was a good steak in town so had to try it out. I wasn't expecting a lot by the looks of the place. I had no idea I would get that good of a steak in tecopa! it was amazing! As was the potatoes. I end up having a nice couple join me, they were super nice and we had good convos with them. They came from LA to enjoy the quaint little town and hot water.A+++++

Tiny little hole in the wall. The menu didn't have a lot of variety but this is one of those places where you get what you get. The mixed veggies were whatever they felt like cooking and they were delicious. The steak, potatoes, soup and blueberry cheesecake were also delicious. If you're going, make reservations because it's very small and popular.

Very nice small business, to go and give some love and recieve back. I ordered the 6oz steak. Came out on time and as ordered. One of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Mash potatos and vegatables was great. Very artistic atmosphere. I will make it a regular stop when I visit Nevada!

The cream of the crop, the hidden gem, the gold standard, whatever you want to call it- this place is the best. The chef blows your mind every time. Don’t be worried about what to get the options are simple and you cannot go wrong. I had a ribeye and the date dessert 10/10. Thank you for letting us enjoy such incredible food in the middle of nowhere. This place is a blessing to the universe. The last photo is old but I’ve been coming here 10+ years and have never had a bad meal.

We were snapped at without warning and told to leave because we wanted to sit outside to watch the sunset after we were told “they don’t serve outside” not that we could not eat at the tables outside.. It was one of the strangest experiences I have had at a restaurant. I wouldn’t take the risk of that kind of treatment for good food… if you look through the reviews you will see it happens here sometimes…... There’s another wonderful restaurant in town run by the sweetest couple -the kit fox- go there instead!!!

You never expect to find good food like this in the middle of nowhere in a little shack of a building. Book RSVP way in advance they only have 6 tables, which are always full at 6pm seating.
It's one of the best steaks I've had anyplace, and we are going back again to try more of the menu.

If i could give Eric, Joe and Ruel 10 stars i would but the booper machine only allows for 5. As a former member of the community and the previous manager of the hotsprings, brewery and BBQ down the way, i wanted to get my stars in. Eric has established over the last decade a complete package for anyone who is looking for an exceptional 5 stars experience. Eric,my friend, you can cook AND I THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS BEING KIND TO ME AND NEVER LYING TO ME. I APPRECIATE HONESTY AND IT WAS A REFRESHING QUALITY, even if i didnt want to hear it. Thank you for being you. And then theres, Joe, who also can throw together an awesome breakfast and ALWAYS MADE ME LAUGH. Nothing like great GREAT POSITIVE VIBES PLUS A GREAT CUP OF COFFEE TO START YOUR DAY. other spots were a bit TOO DRAMATIC for me, so it was so nice to have this POSITIVE PLACE TO GRAB A BITE and a CUP OF JOE. (NO PUN INTENDED..LOL..OKAY MAYBE A PUN OR 2)
THEN, Ruel!! What can be said about Ruel beside HE RULES! He is always there to makesure all is right in the world and FYI, THIS MAN can cook too. Fire i speak from experience. He is a chef amomgst chefs foresure. And i learned so much from him. Unforgettable. Also, i apologize i believe the other gentlemen who helped as well but i am not exactly keen on him i believe its Brandon. Who helps around there as well. I hope i didnt forget anyone but if you know me well enough i probably did and if so my sincerest apologize to anyone else i forgot.
So if you are lookimg for a fine dining steak in the middle of death valley look no further. Tecopa has it. PLEASE REMEMBER THOUGH YOU ARE IN THE DESERT WE ALL TRY OUR BEST THESE PEOPLE WORK AND LIVE UNDER EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS AND AN ISOLATING PLACE. BE PATIENCE BE NICE AND ALWAYS FOLKS FOLLOW THE SIGNS AND DRINK WATER. ITS CALLED DEATH VALLEY FOR A REASON. LOVE U ALL BE WELL AND BEEE SAFE
