It's ok , their breakfast burritos are pretty good but the tacos and burritos are just ok . It's very salty but does the trick if you want some Mexican food in a hurry

Service sucks and help is rude. Nothing like Sals in Selma Instead at the Barns Bobby Salazar Express White tortilla wrapped burritos etc lay lined up in trays open to the air. Food filled trays behind glass along a customer counter they refused sell a burrito or chimichanga I Left on my drive hungry

My mom and I talked about going to BSE's since we moved out here. We should have kept waiting. I wish I could say something nice about it, but at $11, I expected so much more--my mom wouldn't even try it--especially after I opened it. Very disappointed, unfortunately. We LOVE good Mexican food, and this wasn't it.

Wow, just updated The Barn Summit, it's the same place. First off, it's got chevron gas! Plus restroom access. But it's got great looking fried chicken, but I got the corn dogs and deep fried burritos. Also other foods, but I was in a hurry, it was called Bobby Salazar's. Customer service was good, the food server handed me the food and the cashier handed me the mustard, I'm guessing because of covid-19. They looked really good, only issue, they weren't hot, just Luke warm, what a disappointment. Oh well, I got gas and bathroom break, and man, Tehachapi was windy and cold, I thought I was in Chicago!

Our second time at this little hole in the wall. We stay at the RV park a the end of the road. We get our dinner at Bobby's and being Mexican food lovers, we have not been disappointed. Fresh and tasty. We order the tacos. Can not beat the taste and price.

We just stopped here but didn't order any food. The whole mini mart was dirty, gas pump was broken, ladies bathroom had toilet roll on floor, door lock broken, no seatcovers, no soap, no paper towels. Afraid to order any food. Such a shame, because it looked so new.

Unbelievable!! Just got a delicious, authentic, Chile Verde burrito the size of a small child inside a Quickie-Mart gas station! It was actually located at 400A E Steuber Rd, Tehachapi, CA 93561 inside "The Barn", just off SR 58. One of THE best burritos I've ever had. And all agreed we should have ordered one, and split it 3 ways. Won't say I'll be back (happened to pass by on the way home from a random, family vacation), but will for sure recommend this to anyone jonesin' for some delicious, inexpensive, perfectly spiced Mexican food.

If you're Hungry and in a hurry, this is a good choice. If you're a foodie, and want good Mexican Food, this is meh. Ordered up two Burritos, both w/guacamole. One Asada, the other chicken. Neither rocked the socks off. Chicken was fairly bland, like boiled, season-less chicken that had been hanging out in the steam table for awhile. The Asada was a bit better. Beans inside were average. Service was pleasant and timely. Premises seemed clean. Treated the stop for what it was, which was to grab something quick and get home to Mammoth. For that purpose, felt satisfied in the choices. Certainly afterwards didn't need to eat for the next 5 hours Scoped out the Chile Verde which would have been the choice if I could sit down at a table. Didn't want to wear it as I was eating and driving. Looked like it may be pretty good.

Good service not authentic Mexican. Don't expect to get tacos that look like they are from a taco truck. Weird toppings like cheese? No not on Mexican tacos . Me and my friend were confused with the toppings in general . The lady dipped my tortilla In so much oil I started to worry about my health. The meat looked like not carne asada but ground beef. The price was kinda Steep , the tortilla was greasy , the meat had ok flavor but like I said , didn't resemble carne asada. Would I come back here and call this Mexican. NO . Sorry Bobby. Not authentic for me. The extra star is for the service.

Monster burrito was great. LOCATION IN YELP IS INCORRECT. Map comes up showing location near Home Depot, but Bobby's is actually in the gas station near Tehachapi Blvd near SR58 at the south end of town.

Wasn't expecting fantastic Mexican. I was just hungry from hiking over the weekend. Anyway, the burrito was the best burrito I've had. If taco trucks are your thing, stop here.

Stopped by to get a dozen burritos last week on Thursday morning, one of the workers looked like she wanted to hurt me, I guess I don't blame her, and the other one was as polite as she could be at 5 in the morning, but they got it done in little less than 1/2 hr. and all my guys including myself really liked the burritos! They were actually pretty good especially out of a gas station. I will be going back, but a suggestion, if you are going to order a dozen burritos at 5 in the morning, might be a good idea to call ahead.
