My husband took me for my birthday...We couldn't get service...People that came in after us ordered and received their food and we still hadn't been waited on... then when we finally flagged down a waitress she acted as though we were a bother because she had to write down our order. I ordered the lobster tail which had no description other than lobster tail ...so I assumed I was getting a lobster tail. It was chopped up with a teriyaki sauce that was not edible... $33 for a lobster that didn't taste anything like lobster...I didn't like any of the food. my husband liked the shrimp lovers roll I thought it was bland. I would never recommend anyone to go there. Also when we left there wasn't any recognition that we were even there. Most places thank you for coming not here it was very disappointing... it was the worst birthday dinner ever

Sushi was ok, but not the best. The proportions for other food like the chicken teriyaki was extremely small for the price and the chicken was very bland as if it was unseasoned and baked rather than grilled as you'd expect.

I went to Kasagiri for years, but I think Ichiban has surpassed than.. My son, from Northern California is sushi and Japanese food freak, He was not at all impressed with Kasagiri, he ordered a large amount of various dishes and sushi, but wasn’t too impressed, We got bento boxes at Ichiban…yummy!

I don't eat sushi, but I found I really enjoy the chicken teriyaki soba noodles. Just make sure to order that when you order your drinks, or you will get it much later than when the sushi gets to your table for others in your party.
