Had dinner here with some friends and was a great experience. I had the sugar brine pork chop, and it was fantastic. The flavor the tenderness and being brined with the sugar really makes a difference in the pork chop and my wife had the peppered strip steak and it was great. The ambience of the whole dinner was nice and I recommended what a great steakhouse locally here.

Love the owner Barbara, Ginger the bartender and Yvonne the server. My favorite is their Fish n Chips with Hush Puppies. Im originally from the U.K. and their fish n chips never disappoints.

This place was so cute! We were able to bring our dog on the patio which is always a plus! Food and drinks were great! I am upset I don't remember our servers name but she was on top of everything with making sure we had what we needed and always had full drinks!

Looking for a good steak sense Big Papa’s got shut down. Tried Jake’s and was very disappointed, ordered a 45$ Filet Minion medium well. Waitress brings me a plate with some fru-fru veggies my steak in a puddle of blood, sent it back, it was a different piece of meat still bloody. I ate it, didn’t want any spit on it for sending it back for the third time.I see most reviews are good. My experience cost me 60$ never again.

Visited for the first time last weekend. I had the Alfredo which was good it was not $18 good. Husband got burger, he said it was “ok”However we were a party of 12 In the large room. There was another party. They were loud and got progressively drunk useing vulgar language with no regard to the child at our table. While my pasta was good. Others in our party complained their steaks were dry and tough. My grandma had mashed potatoes and had to add butter from the $5 bread we ordered. They were dry and had no flavor. We couldn’t talk to our server about it as she didnt come back until one of our party went to the bar and had to ask for her. By that point our drinks were empty, no refils or checking on us. She gave one diet soda and apologized and said she would come back with the correct and then disappeared again. Reading the owners response on another member of my partys review. Is absolutely unprofessional and disgusting. We didnt go asking for special treatment we didnt even make a fuss about the other party (not like we could since our server was not around) its a shame. This could have been a frequent stop. But it will not be now. Disappointing in the service, food, and “owner”

Came in tonight after making a reservation earlier in the day. Our server was Cody and he was an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT! He offered us local sourdough bread which was amazing and warm. I ordered the salmon with a honey glaze on it with veggies and fries instead of rice pilaf (because I shared them with my daughter). My daughter got the kids grilled cheese which was on the sourdough and so delicious. My parents got the salmon as well and steak. Everything was so delicious we didn't take pictures because we couldn't wait to taste. It's cozy and nice inside and just amazing service. Highly recommend and make sure to make reservations. Next time I will take pictures.

Not very good. We booked a party of 12 and another large party was in the same room. The other party of “ladies” were rude, loud and drunk. The single server did the best she could but cleaning plates off and refills were challenged. I had the Filet ($40+) which was not very good. Tough and stringy. Others had the mash potatoes which were dry and not tasty. We will not be back or would I recommend Jake’s.

The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. The prime rib and filet mignon tasted quite good however the spinach artichoke dip lacked flavor with no sign of artichokes in it. Baked potato was huge but a bit underbaked. No soup or salad were included with the dinners. The check came and then told there’s a 3% charge to pay with a credit card. Overall, disappointing dinner for the price.

My experience was disappointing and I won't do this one again. They deliver food so fast that you don't have time to taste the dish you just got. After I'd gotten the appetizer and salad simultaneously, I asked the server to hold the steak so I could have my salad, and she said no, the kitchen holds nothing. She slapped the steak down on the table before I'd even tasted the salad. I asked her if she could keep it warm and she said no, the kitchen would not do that. Basically, this is exceptionally rude service, designed to turn the tables as fast as possible. The steak I had was sort of grissly and mediocre for a $46 ribeye. It was hard to cut with a steak knife. So the "best steak in the house" was not even very good. The waitress Lucy was quite friendly and the only bright spot in the experience, but she has no control over the lousy kitchen, or the owner's evident desire to turn and burn the tables as fast as possible. I won't be back.

Poke bowl and smoked old fashion was the best I have ever had in the state of California. Bartender Yvonne provided great customer service. In fact the patrons at the bar were very welcoming as well.
