A lovely gem! I would give it 6 stars. Claudia is so kind and welcoming. The wine selection is international and varied, and accessible to all. Prices are very reasonable. Everything I tried was fantastic! Run, don't walk to this cozy wine bar!

Awesome little gem! Initially visited for a private event. Great selection of wine and super friendly staff. Love that they double as an event space and occasionally also host their own. Atmosphere is cozy, but classy, with interesting decor. Definitely worth a stop when in town.

Had a great time at La Bodega de Castillo. Went with friends who knew the owners. It was a very rainy night and the atmosphere was lively yet cozy. We got seats at the bar and enjoyed trying out some Spanish wines. We ordered a charcuterie board which seemed to have a lot of thought put into it. Nice to have a place like this to visit in Tehachapi!

We stopped in and had a wonderful experience. The owner was very nice and friendly—we even had a great conversation with her, which made us feel right at home. She offers imported wines and rotates the selection regularly. I had the Silk Route from Portugal, which was excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the decor is beautiful and thoughtfully done. It’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy a glass of wine. We had a pleasant time and will be back. Highly recommended!
