I was here yesterday and me and a regular ended up in a disagreement. I’m not even sure how the topic came up, but it somehow led to him saying violence is never okay unless your life is in danger. I said, “I agree, but I understand why people do get violent in certain situations.”

He got really upset and started calling me “crazy”—his exact word. I tried to explain that his opinion is based on his own experiences and that he likely doesn’t understand how marginalized people feel. He told me he was right, I was wrong, and that next time I come in, I better not sit near him and should sit at the end of the bar.

There were other regulars around, listening. The bartender came over with no idea what was actually going on, and immediately took his side. I tried to explain to her that he was mistreating me simply because I didn’t share his opinion. I even repeated what he had said. Meanwhile, he kept calling me crazy, then got up and left—like he’d somehow “won.” But there was nothing to win—it was just a difference of opinion.

Another regular sitting next to him started comforting him, saying, “I’m sorry that happened.” I asked him, “Why are you apologizing to him? I didn’t do anything except express a different view.”

I left, but realized I forgot my phone, so I went back to get it. I asked the bartender why she didn’t try to understand what was happening—why she just took his side without asking questions. She said, “Because he’s a regular and has been with me since the beginning. I don’t know what you want me to say.”

Visited my folks over the holiday weekend from Walnut Creek and absolutely loved it. The mango mallow seltzer and the Oh Yeah punch beer are unlike anything I’ve ever had, y’all are doing amazing things here hahaaaa. Want to give a HUGE shout out to Kelsie, she was incredibly friendly and sweet, went out of her way for me on a pretty big take home purchase. She mentioned she was fairly new but I wouldn’t have known if she hadn’t have told me. She was working the place solo and absolutely killing it! Will absolutely check this place out next time I visit!

Good selection of craft beer at a reasonable price. They also did for us a draft take out keg for the road.

Very nice place! Very good presentation and portions are not small. Everyone is very friendly and polite. Very tasty cuisine.
We were in Budapest for 5 days and often had breakfast here. Highly recommended

I would give them 4.5/5. It is a semi-difficult place to find (if you go past Home Depot and turn left, it's easier to find). It isn't the cutest place and the parking is limited (and on a steep incline). We tried 93561 (a blonde beer), dark "fluffy", and a brown ale. The beers were good and we will come back on a cooler day (there is no ac, only fans and they open doors). There's also no food.

I think it's one of the only places in town open past 10pm on the weekends. Sweet vibe. Great beers, made in house Dark & Fluffy Porter definitely my favorite!

This is utter garbage like I order beers with our friends and you gave us 2 out of 3 drinks and charged me for two and then you had the audacity to come back and try to sell me a glower like you are absolute garbage of a person I think you are drinking on the job

Not really wheelchair friendly when a concert is going on but the servers where very friendly and fast. Location is a tucked away hidden gem in Tehachapi lots of beer choices and a small wine list plus a few other options, There are outside tables and 2 heaters, which is where I stayed because no room for my wheelchair much inside where the concert was going on.Started getting too cold for me And not sure, if the taco vendor there is a regular with them.Food was decent. Didn't expect tacos to be $5 each. She also served quesadillas and burritos. Those were $15 each. Meat choices are chicken, asada and pastor. There is one wheelchair accessible parking spot.

Only had 2 beers. A short stay being a weary traveler. Great beer, good atmosphere, but the parking needs some love.
