Really great sushi, with a lot of unique rolls that you won't find anywhere else in town, so it stands out from the other sushi establishments in Tehachapi - if you like sushi but want to try something slightly different, try out this spot. They of course have your standard delicious sushi as well.
They also have real Korean BBQ on the menu which you won't be able to find more literally miles in any direction. Great service, very clean, and classy but still cozy atmosphere. Love this little mom and pop establishment and highly recommend.

There isn’t a better sushi restaurant in Kern County! When we lived in the Pasadena area, we would go to Little Tokyo all the time for sushi and we enjoy Midori as much as our old days down south.

Enjoyed eating here. Everything was fresh tasting. We started with edimami. Very good. Unagi and salmon sushi was excellent. My hubs had the beef teriyaki dinner and I had the chicken teriyaki dinner. We were both really satisfied. Server was friendly. I'd come back.

This place is a rip off. The waitress charged me $7 for an Arnold Palmer-$2 for the lemonade PLUS another $5 for the iced tea. They blamed it on rising prices, but this was just an old fashioned rip off. The waitess got no tip from me.

Midori Sushi in Tehachapi, California completely blew me away! The food was extremely delicious and unbelievably fresh—honestly the best sushi I’ve ever tasted. Every bite was full of flavor and clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. What made the experience even more special were the owners. They were so warm and welcoming, they truly made us feel like family. It’s rare to find that kind of hospitality these days. You could tell how much the community appreciates them—there was a line of customers waiting just to thank the chef personally. That speaks volumes. If you're anywhere near Tehachapi, do yourself a favor and stop by Midori Sushi. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a memorable experience.

This is very high-quality sushi prepared by a master. Both the rolls, sashimi and sushi were all well liked. They have a nice selection of sake too. The yellowtail was particularly good.

We happened upon Madori Sushi as it was across the parking lot from SureStay hotel where we stayed. What a great find. The Salmon Teryaki with it's crispy skin was delicious. That and at Ahi Poki, etamami sides with hot saki complemented the meal. Friendly service, clean restaurant.

Really good. Bulgogi dinner tonight...excellent. my goto roll is the sensual pleaser. Didn't hav it tonight but highly recommend. This place is often busy and I would encourage you to call for reservations. Great food and service.
