the skate park is great. the 'lodge' is awful. there was no working shower in our room. there is no number listed anywhere to call for service. the contact numbers on the room phone (front desk etc) are over 20 years old and do not connect to anything. we were given a key to s room on yhe other side of campus where we could shower. i went to front desk and rang the buzzer for 10 minutes and no one came. i stayed with my kid on this visit. i would never leave them alone for one of their week long camps. it's pretty filthy as well. the rear wsll on yhe outside of our room is completely gone. its pretty clear they are only concered with the skate park adpof this place.

Chai Tea was great. Friendly service. Expanded menu. Shorter distance than Starbucks

Coach Sed is Amazing. We had a birthday party here he made it look effortless with so many 4 and under kids. The staff Kristen her daughter and the food and beverage manager made this day so special for our daughter. Great staff very professional. Awesome place to have such a special day. We so grateful they open there doors to the community.

The camp was fine. Counselors were nice. Food was mediocre, activity facilities excellent, structure fine. This camp is geared towards kids that have skills or are really ready to put themselves out there. My son spent quite a bit of time back in the cabin watching movies on his kindle when it was "free" time (which there was a lot of). This works well for some kids. Mine could have used a little more attention and coaxing. No hard feelings, just no "wow" factor. Other camps that he has attended had tons of activities and the counselors were trained to watch out for kids that needed a little extra attention. I think he will go with his brother or a bestie if he decides to give it another try.

Woodward west is definitely the sports camp to go to for children ages 7 and up. Walking into the camp I was blown away. It's nothing like any summer camps I went to as a kid. It's like being transported back in time to an old western town, except with kids on skateboards everywhere. There was an outdoor grill, skateboard and bike riding stuff everywhere, a pool, a store, a cafeteria and many bunk houses. Check out my photos to get an idea. This was our daughters first year (7yrs old) and she said she had a blast! She went with her gymnastics gym, Acrobrats. We dropped her off for week 6 for gymnastics on Sunday and picked her up the following Saturday. She couldn't stop talking about how much fun she had for the entire 2 hour ride home. I recommend putting plenty of money on their account so they can partake in the stores. They can buy juices, cotton candy, Dippin Dots ice cream and more! We were able to go to the store and take a tour with our daughter when we picked her up. You can buy reusable water bottles, jackets, shirts and even leotards and skateboards! The only thing that I wish was different was the social media aspect of the place. It has a high focus on skateboarding and bmx and little to nothing with regards to gymnastics. As a parent dropping off their kids for the first time it would've been nice to see what they were up to the whole week. The kids spent about 7 hours a day in the gym and my daughter said it kicked her butt but she came back able to do way more than before we dropped her off. What cool is the camp has special guests through out the summer. This week for her was UCLA gymnasts Katelyn Ohashi. Our daughter was very excited to meet her. We will definitely be coming back for 2020

We great experiences for the last two years! Woodward provides a summer camp where kids can growth athletically and as people. My two sons have attended summer camp for the last two years. Our experience has been very positive with my kids growing in confidence and learning new skills. Earlier this month, I was a "camp parent", where I had an opportunity to spend a week helping around camp and spending time with my kids. The time spent with my kids was invaluable and much needed. World Class Facility, World Class Coaches, a place where talent can flourish. -Kevan

It's cool that there is a coffee place in stallion springs but I think the baristas need A LOT more training. The service is painfully slow and the drinks are wildly inconsistent. Quality of ingredients could probably be better, especially for the price of their drinks. They literally use gross Hershey syrup in their mocha

My 10 year-old son just attended Winter Skateboard Camp. Prospective parents/campers, be warned...this is a completely unstructured camp. The daily schedule has 7 items listed, including: wake-up, breakfast, lunch, dinner, free skate...and that leaves 1 more item: instruction. The first 5 items are completely unsupervised and unstructured. The instruction (2 hours of the day) is about 15 kids with 1 counselor, who is there to 'help if they need it'. Even though kids are grouped by skill level, there is no formalized instruction. The counselors are more concern with practicing their own tricks, than teaching kids anything. My son loved the camp and made some good friends; however, as a parent, I believe children under 12 should have some structure and supervision...and that's why I'm giving 3 stars.

I had previously posted a negative review about the camp's refund policy--however, after learning about some executive changes at the parent company and reaching out to them, the new director immediately contacted me to make things right. Very impressed with the changes being made and hope they continue to improve, as my son really loves their scooter camps. Huge thanks to Pam Velasquez and the new executives at POWDR for being so responsive. Bonus: It appears the camp has now changed its refund policy to demonstrate that they are sincere about elevating the guest experience across all of their properties.

Their coffees will do since they're literally the only place to get coffee within miles but it's sometimes bland, a step up to instant coffee though so I guess that's something. The main issue I had with them is if their sign says they close @9pm, they actually close 10 mins earlier. Now I don't know if this is with all the staff there but twice I've run down to get coffee for my late shift in the AT room and notice that they've locked their door 10 minutes until closing. Now if that's the case they should change their sign on the door so I attempt to come earlier. The times listed on the door should mean times for customers to come in, not the time of their shift. Closing @10pm doesn't mean the staff gets off @10pm, it means that's when you can start to lock up and clean your machines because customers are no longer allowed in. Anyhow I'm super disappointed with their customer service with this regard and the girls who make the coffee aren't consistent with the recipe so sometimes it's good enough and sometimes it's watered down. Maybe they should go through customer service training and barista training?

This was going to be the second year our son attended camp. He won a certificate for 500 and we paid the difference of 579 for the week of camp he would have been attending. We were informed our son needed immediate surgery, we called and spoke with an individual at the camp and was assured they would have Gymnastics camp until the end of July. So we scheduled his surgery. We call back to reschedule his camp and get informed they only have 3 weeks for male gymnastics training! Of which he can't attend because they fall within his recovery period. When we registered, 6 months ago, there was a small section about buying the insurance with little detail. What parent plans on skipping out on camp for their child NONE so we didn't purchase it! My husband has been quite kind in communicating with them to get them to refund our money so we can find another camp later in the summer for our child to attend SINCE THEY DONT OFFER MORE THAN 3 weeks for a MALE GYMNAST! Instead this person my husband spoke to felt it necessary to hang up on my husband! So this is what I want that person to know. The man they hung up on, can't do much because he is fighting a rare disease that already stopped his heart once needing a pacemaker/defibrillated implanted and now it has reached the advance stage requiring chemo therapy. My husband felt it necessary to defend his sons camp experience and get back the little money we paid to find something else for our son to enjoy later this summer. Did we plan our sons surgery no, did we plan for my husband to need such excessive medical treatment no. But this company expects everyone to plan for such situations! Life happens and sometimes a company needs to respect a campers situation as an individual case and actually do the right thing when they don't offer what they have previously!!!!

Will not return!!! Workers are rude. Telling us the park is close for my two kids and I see other kids playing in the park too! Keep walking by the other two kids and pretend not to see them playing them in there. Two thumbs down!!!

Love the tuxedo hot chocolate. Sunday is my favorite with open mic, especially when Adam Banton is visiting. The sandwiches are also great. Love the staff.
