Tacos El Superior used to be a great place to eat in Tehachapi. However my wife and I have now begun to call it Tacos El Inferior (I know I know its not Spanish). The burritos have devolved into being dry and just mostly filled with rice. This is on top of the burritos getting smaller and smaller over time since they opened. As if that wasn't bad enough already, you never know what you're going to get regarding salsa, and despite their own rule regarding 2 salsas per burrito you rarely even get 2 salsas with an order of 2 burritos and 4 tacos. And then their service has gotten awful, the drive through takes at LEAST 30 minutes if its just you and it goes up from there. You'll often get asked to leave the drive through so they can inflate their statistics of time spent in the drive through while ever decreasing the pace of service. And once you can get through ALL of that, you'll often not even get what you ordered with items being wrong or missing entirely. But rest assured you will most definitely still be charged for the mistakes.When Chipotle opened in town I used to joke why would anyone ever go there with Tacos El Superior so near, and now ever time I think Tacos El Superior couldn't REALLY be that bad, I go and waste my time and money and leave disappointed.This company never takes constructive criticism and won't even respond to their own requested feedback at a phoneline that only ever goes to voicemail.In summary, my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Took over 35 minutes to get our food. Asada meat was salty, rice was dry and lacked flavor. Cheese on the asada fries was cold.

When they first opened service was acceptable. Now they take 30+minutes to get your drive through order. And then they get it wrong. I was the only one in the drive through, they still couldn’t get me my order, they asked me to pull around and park, with nobody behind me. They asked me to move because there is a “timer on their drive through” which having worked fast food I know means they are trying to make it look like they are moving orders faster than they are. This has happened multiple times. It’s a bummer because the food is decent, kinda greasy, but not terrible. But the service is just awful. There is a phone number that says “call this if you are unhappy with the service” and it goes straight to a full mailbox.

First time eating tacos at the superior in Tehachapi, I had the worst service, I was missing tacos that were left after being brought to my table and they never came, the consommé was pure fat! I asked to be served again and it never arrived. I give a ZERO for attention!!! First and last time.

Food is amazing 2nd time eating here....the workers were really nice...the restaurant was very clean and quiet....but relaxing....love this spot...we even got a side dish of chicken for out dog....she loved loved loved it...
