Amazing selection of fresh seafood. They got something for everyone fresh or fried. Very casual spot. We got oysters and cioppino. Kids got pasta and french-fries. All of the food was great. Prices are very friendly. Inside and outside seating.

When the restaurant is also a seafood market, you know the fish will be fresh. The seafood is the star in the dishes we ordered. The steamed clams were delicious in a simple broth with spices. The cioppino was more of a tomato broth than a seasoned, spicy one, again featuring the shellfish and fish. The clam chowder was also very good. We ate at their outdoor patio which was serviceable but next to the plaza driveway. Next time we'll probably order take out. We'll be back to try other menu items!

We have been enjoying the fresh fish since 2016. The friendly ambience is definitely a plus. Pier46 is a for sure stop between the valley and coast all year long. Ahi tacos are a favorite with a glass of 805. Seafood pasta for dinner always hits the spot. Pier46 has never disappointed!!

Stopped by for lunch while visiting Paso Robles. We got the fish tacos and the tuna sandwich - both were very good. Tuna sandwich was loaded with tuna and came with a cup of soup which i was not expecting. Tacos were massive, topped with tons of cabbage, so big they were almost too hard to eat. Good place to stop for lunch if you're in the area.
Love the food. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Everyone is so pleasant. I'm very picky about gosh and I've never had a bad meal there. They also have some great spices and sauces that you can buy so you can cook your favorite meals at home.

The best quality tuna I have ever had and I have been eating mostly fish for my whole life! The rest of the implementation of the meal is lost. I ordered sesame seed seared ahi tuna salad. The tomatoes were at least two weeks old rotting in the center, the carrots have the texture of having sat in my refrigerator for the last 3 weeks (and smell), the red onion burned my nostrils (old). These are not chefs or even cooks I would say at best they are line workers. The tuna was just kissed by heat so-sashimi. The cashier either has a hearing problem or does not speak English well. It seemed to be the most popular restaurant in Templeton as every table was taken inside and out. I think I ordered the wrong item (many of the reviews and most that I saw ordered fish tacos). They had everything in the market and very, very fresh. I would not go back as it is too far to drive for little reward, but I would go back if I happened to be driving by and I was hungry. I don't know Templeton but the competition must be small town fast food for this place to be so much in demand. Generous proportions. My salad could have fed two. It might be that this is the popular place to be seen for the retired crowd? Better than Denny's.
