My first visit was in June 2024, and everything was absolutely top-notch. Unfortunately, this recent experience was quite different.
When I made our reservation, I specifically requested to be seated outside on the second-floor balcony, as we had done before. However, upon arrival, we were informed that the second floor was closed for a private event—something I wish had been communicated when I called to book. We were seated outside downstairs instead, which was noticeably less enjoyable than our previous experience upstairs.
The hostess did not greet or welcome us, and her demeanor came across as if she was having a bad day—no smile, and not particularly professional, which was disappointing given the level of service I had expected. On the positive side, our server was polite and upbeat, which helped balance the experience somewhat.
Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. For a bill of nearly $600 for four people, the meals were surprisingly bland and underwhelming.
It makes me wonder if there’s been a change in management since last year, as the contrast in service and quality was noticeable. I genuinely want to return, but only if things improve.

We loved sitting out back on the patio overlooking the bay watching the ferries going to the city and Angel Island. We tried the vegan coconut ceviche, tofu lettuce wraps, and the butternut squash vegan pizza. All were fantastic, but the pizza was what we'll come back for. Next time I want to take the ferry over on a sunny day and try the vegan chop salad and the coconut curry.

Had a really yummy breakfast a few mornings ago. I don’t know how they make their fingerling potatoes but they were the best. The waiter was good but he kept trying to upset me on the mimosa which was a little weird but I just finally told him absolutely not and he stopped. ?

This place is a nice place to bring out of town, guests or family for a special treat. You're really going more for the ambiance and the location and the view than the food. Not that the food is bad. It's pretty standard California food. It is expensive for sure. I had the fish tacos which were good and when I asked for salsa they brought me two kinds which was nice, though neither of them were spicy. The tomato watermelon salad was pretty good though. The watermelon was just two balls of watermelon. Weird. We ate on the second floor and there was no room on the patio, but that was okay because we were seated near the glass doors and were able to see the expansive view which is almost worth it alone. If you are on a budget though, it is not worth it because it is very expensive. The staff were pretty good but not really exceptional. 5 stars all the way! The food was delicious and spectacular service. Great views over looking San Francisco across the bay. Whole place had an amazing atmosphere. Manager Jackson, went out of his way to make sure my experience was the absolute best. Will definitely return in the future!

It’s my first time and my family comming to this place…The place is nice , clean and the view was beautiful. We ordered chicken tacos and when the food arrived the tortilla is so hard like a rubber.. cant even eat it.. and following days we received a receipt for a total bill from my bank . And there was a 10$ more charge on our account. We will not gonna come back here anymore to dine.. i love the view and the place but the food and the service is not really that good..
