Great spot on the water, bar staff very attentive. However, Waited 40 minutes after reservation, host is difficult to hear when the waiting area is full.

(March 2024) First time trying the Caprice. Food was good, views of Golden Gate Bridge were fantastic! I wouldn't go there just for the food. Pretty pricey. You're not paying for the quality of the meal, your paying for the ambience and the views.

The views are spectacular and the food was excellent! Great service as well. We had a Momlette which is a baked three egg omelette with Dungeness crab on top. I had an Irish Cappuccino and for dessert a lemon curd cake.

Spectacular food AND views (rare). Since remodel even more lovely. My friends drive from Healdsburg to have dinner here. Worth the drive. High marks for caviar.

The perfect date spot! I came on a Saturday afternoon and we were immediately seated. The views are spectacular from anywhere in the restaurant. The food is delicious and at a good price for a nice restaurant. My favorite was the creme brulee cheesecake! The service was also great and the staff had good energy. Love this place!

I've always had great food and view here. Have been here numerous times and have not been disappointed. But the service is in total shambles and what a shame. If you like being ignored and don't mind asking the front of the house to get acknowledgment of a wait staff then this is the place to go. Maybe have a snack before so you can get through the long wait before someone even attempts to say hello I'll be with you in a second. But if you're fortunate enough to get Shaun as your waiter the food and experience is worthy.

Seated 45 minutes after my reservation. Waited in a hot, crowded foyer with 20+ other people. Couldn’t get a drink because there was one bartender. Host was indifferent and unfriendly—30m past told me “there’s 5 people in front of you” and just shrugged. I get there’s a Valentine’s Day rush but seems like you set yourself up for failure. Great view and pretty good food though, hopefully a one-time thing.

Went here Valentine's Day night. The service was horrendous starting from the Host. He seemed so unhappy to be there and was not accommodating at all. My husband and I were exactly on time for our reservation (maybe even 3 minutes early) and we were waiting for our table for 40 minutes. We got no apology or acknowledgement. This was my first time there and had heard good things about the view and food. Since it was at night I wasn't really able to appreciate the view, but the food was decent, did not blow me away. I think the thing that will stay with me was the horrendous service and attitude from the Host, who is the first interaction you have. Definitely will not be returning. I see why my family who lives on the same street never go there.

Classic, beautiful restaurant. Loved being here on Christmas day for the first time. Tasty food--expected it to not quite live up to the ambiance, but it was pretty darn good. Though there were some vegetarian options, and /but I would encourage adding more menu options that are plant-based (vegan) and vegetarian. I think you'll see more people are avoiding meat and dairy when given the chance. Please help us all help the environment and climate.

The best place to impress someone. Fourth of July is amazing. However they lost my reservation for 2/10/2024 which spoiled my birthday celebration with my wife. Online reservation screwup I suspect
