Love this restaurant the food is always perfect. I love the lasagna. I’ve had the arugula salad. The lemon piccata chicken is amazing. Vegetables are fresh. They serve a nice potato casserole instead of just mashed potatoes. Service is always amazing very attentive no matter where you are in the restaurant you get great attention. a few weeks ago We even had a nice birthday party out on the patio.! They also have a really nice wine list

Service was great. Food was good. The creme brulee was superb. However the veal saltimbocca was really just a veal Marcella with no prosciutto or sage.

I treated myself to lunch at Via Piccola during a day out in Marin. I had the Insalata Verde and Gnocchi with alfredo sauce and bay shrimp. Both were delicious! The salad was fresh and had the right amount of dressing (on the lighter side). The gnocchi were deliciously soft and moist with lovely texture. I asked for Shrimp to be added for protein and it was a nice addition, cooked perfectly soft. I'd definitely visit this restaurant again.

Been twice, two very different experiences in food quality. The first trip was exceptional across the board. That was about a year ago. The second trip was terrible. That was about February of 2025, on a Tuesday. Not sure if I just caught an off night or something has changed for the worse. I'll try again as it's my local Italian joint and it has good service, but the food was bad enough the last time to keep me away for a while.

First time at the restaurant. Met another couple there. All four of us absolutely loved the food. My wife and I are both Italian and are well educated with fine food. We are all looking forward to meeting there again soon. We live in the Napa Valley and intend to drive the distance just to enjoy the food.

The meal was great, as well as a tiramisu dessert. However, their coffee is bad, not a proper Italian restaurant level. Not even on a Starbucks level. Otherwise, it is a great place.

Have dined at Via Piccola on 4 other occasions and have had positive experiences. Booked it for husband's birthday dinner with son and his wife. We all ordered our meals, with our son ordering a steak medium rare. All of us were served, but the steak was almost well done and was sent back. Meanwhile, we slowly ate as it took a long while for a new steak to come out. When the new steak arrived, it was almost raw and inedible. Again, it was sent back to be cooked some more. When the steak finally arrived, the 3 of us were done with our meals and our son ate by himself. Surprised we were not even offered a courtesy discount for terrible service. This was the most disappointing dining experience we've ever had at Via Piccola and doubt we will be back. I recently recommended Via Piccola to friends, but moving forward, won't make any more recommendations to dine there.
