I had an amazing dining experience at Via Piccola Trattoria! The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, and the service was top-notch. But the real star of the show was the food - specifically, the Deluxe Pizza. It was absolutely perfect! The crust was crispy, the sauce was tangy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the care that went into crafting each bite. If you're a pizza lover like me, you won't want to miss this gem. Five stars and I can't wait to go back!

My first impressions of my first dinner at Via Piccola--a Saturday night date night, and a first date at that. First, ample and easy parking. Second, a wonderfully welcoming and competent serving staff. (I mentioned this was a first date, and that I'd really appreciate it if they could find a reasonably quiet table where we could actually hear each other talk(. And though at 7 p.m. they were quite busy, our server, Anita found the perfect table. While I waited for my date to arrive, I asked to have a mature Barola I brought decanted. No problem, quickly done. I'd had an uncharacteristically late lunch, so wasn't that hungry at first, but the mushroom ravioli I ordered was off the charts--as good as any mushroom sauce-based pasta I'd had during weeks spent in Tuscany, which is saying something. I'd come back just for that dish. But aside from my charming dinner companion, the star of this show was really the warm ambiance of the restaurant and its staff. We felt well hosted, well held. And the extraordinarily fantastic mushroom ravioli made me curious to try the rest of the menu. I will be back. The only very minor suggestion I'd make would be for VPT to reconsider the portion size of the slice of key lime pie we shared for desert. If what we received was the normal size--in fact it was tiny. Otherwise, what a wonderful thing to discover such a neighborhood trattoria as this.

I loved it. I had the gnocchi with the meat sauce and that was delicious. I wish I had taken a picture of it. The service was great. There weren't that many people there at 5pm, which was actually nice. I already want to go back to get the gnocchi again!

Pedro and his staff are awesome, food is always great. I go there as often as possible but living in the east bay, not nearly enough.

We came here for dinner. I like the look inside and the romantic music that was playing (even though it is not Italian haha). A staff member patiently explained the specials. We decided to get their spaghetti rustico, fettuccine with scallops, and veal (the dish name escapes me sorry, but you can find it!) and finished the meals with their tiramisu, panna cotta, and key lime pie. Fantastico! So good! Well-seasoned and not soggy! Even their espresso was smooth and lovely! I would like to come back again! I will try one of the Italian red wines next time...I have been meaning to try one haha!

Cute. Quaint. Yummy. Reasonable. These words describe Via Piccola when our part of 5 had dinner last weekend. My mother in law made reservations a week before and she came in here for lunch. We started with Caesar salads to share and complementary bread service. Everyone at this restaurant was very nice and we were very well taken cared of. I absolutely enjoyed my swordfish. The way it was prepared was perfect for my liking. Too bad, we didn't leave room for dessert. By the way, if you are looking to purchase art, they have a good selection displayed on the walls. First time since new ownership. We did take out. Prompt delivery given a Friday night. No line to pay. Portions average size. Ordered Caesar, Carbonara, Gnocchi, and Chicken Parm. All tasted good but nothing that blows us out of the water. It is close to home and we’d go again. Very pleasant service.

Pedro is like the family you always want to make dinner for you on special occasions. I love going to dinner here & have all the courses. No rush to eat. Food is always great. Wine selection is wonderful & I let my brother pick. Main courses are excellent & deserts are do die for.

Food is decent. It is a tradition to go here before I leave for school at the end of every break. Without fail, I have gotten extremely sick the day after. Last night I had the spaghetti rustico and the bruschetta and have been sick all day. Missed my flight. And will be late going back to school. Both my brother and I have the stomach flu due to what I expect to be unwashed greens. If anyone else has had the same experience, please let the people know.
