I spent 38 years in America. Last night from Tracy, California. We were passing by, it was Iftar time, he said, I found this restaurant through Google, I went and ordered one or two types of food, I swear to God that if you ate the grass from the lawn, it would be delicious. It means so much tasteless bread. It was still very dirty from the point of view of cleanliness.
I was traveling last night somewhere I stopped in Tracy California to get some dinner because of Ramadan.
I am leaving in United States since 1986. I never see that type of awful restaurant. The food was not tasty. Good customer service below zero also the place was not clean. And they called their name, Muslim. I don't know what kind of Muslim they are?
Worst food ever, we asked for goat karahi they gave us lamb full with fat no meat, expensive price and bad quality food I won't recommend anyone.
Their bread is great and so is their meat other than that most items are way Overpriced. Afghan stores in Bay Area are much cheaper than Azhar market. For example they sold a small bag of pumpkin seed for $7.20 even though it had $4.99 sticker on it!! Other groceries are also very expensive. You need to have fair prices if you want customers! People aren't ignorant
The best Afghan and Mediterranean food in Tracy, CA hands down. Keep up the great work!
I visited the Azhar Halal market. The market was clean and well organized and offered a wide variety of fresh produce and staff was friendly, especially the owner Mr Idris. And the kabobs, biryani, qabuli palouw so testy.
Best food if you want test of afghan cuisine place to go recommended to all friends and family
The best kababs and Shinwari karahi around. Very friendly staff.
Very nice
I love it!!! Their behavior and hospitality was unique, everyone was treated like a king, their food quality was fantastic, everything seemed to be fresh and testy, Azhar restaurant and grocery is highly recommended.
Idrees (the new owner as of summer 2024) is an amazing host. Very personalized service but what impressed me the most is the consistent quality of food. We usually go for Karhahi, fresh garlic / plain naans, Chapli, and Kebab skewers. Nothing beats oven fresh taste from this restaurant. Not a fancy please to sit but a cost effective and most certainly one of the best authentic Afghan / Pakistani food taste.
Restaurantji Recommends
We ordered karhai, beef kabob and Chapli with fresh garlic Naans, we thoroughly enjoyed the food , environment, it make me nostalgic!
I recently dined at the Azhar Halal Market, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The food was incredibly tasty, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The prices were very reasonable, making it accessible without compromising on quality.
What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional customer service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. I really appreciated their dedication to ensuring we had a great meal. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for delicious food and top-notch service!
I really appreciate your service, and wonderful delicious Kabab, and everything.
Don’t engage with them .. not great attitude and didn’t appear ethical .. pretty bad experience ..
Had catering from these people yesterday at mountain house community event. They're scammers/looters and prices are not reflected truly. Don't trust them. They're such big liars that they'll respond to your review with whatever untrue comments to downplay your credibility. They can't take constructive criticism and do not care to figure out ways that they can improve. Why not do better? Joke of a business and joker of a owner. Soon, you will find yourself in the list of consumers bureau. You just couldn't help but respond negatively and untruthfully right? So now I have to expose you.
