Love the chocolate and ice cream, so glad to have one near me. The have a few good options, love a chocolate sundae, the chocolate fudge is to die for. however the one in lathrop is much netter decorated and has a wider variety of chocolate to buy in store.

Ask for no salt! I never thought I would have to tell someone not to put extra salt on my Sundae. They sprinkled salt on even the whip cream. I was very disappointed. I threw the whole thing away. Tried calling because I ordered it to go but there's no answer. That will be the last time I go to this place. I hate underhanded mean folks!

The location is not very ideal unless you are traveling nearby the area and also, there isn't much close by so, probably won't be a good idea to visit late at night. However, the service was exceptional. They did have a good variety of sweets in, and the service was rather quickly. However, the prices for the ice cream shakes and sundaes were moderately expensive, but the packed sweets were pretty cheap compared to local stores and a large variety t hat other stores don't carry in stock.

Disappointed to visit this facility. I had a high expectations after visiting their San Franscisco store at the Ghirardelli Square. This shop is in the middle of no where. It's not a factory but distribution center. There are no factory tours avaiable here, it is just distribution center. The staff members were rude. The ice cream quality was not good; it's expensive...same cost as SF store.

Kind staff. Ghirardelli has best of chocolate options. Loved this place. Clean place. Ice cream quality has a room to improve. A lot of options for sweet gifts.

Got to the place at 7:55pm (they close at 8pm on a Monday) and they had already locked the doors for closing. Guy working standing at the counter just looks and smiles and keeps doing what he was doing. I get that it’s closing time but atleast keep the doors open for the hours posted on your door. Ghirardelli can thank their Immature employees for losing a customer ?

Over $10 for their mini sundae. Not even Fenton's is that expensive!
And I still can't figure out how items at their outlet cost more than at my local Safeway. For example, the chocolate bars are 4 for $15 or 1 for $4.95 at the outlet. At my local Safeway, the same bars go for $3.
