Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

This Restaurant needs new management to start with! The managers are very unprofessional! I was hired did all paperwork for hire Juan made copy of my ID and my social security card and never got back to me with my schedule. I went in to eat yesterday on 8/9/25 the food was absolutely Horible i started off with a salad and the ranch was so watered down it didn’t have a taste! Went on the food and the food looked old like they reused leftovers the Prost tasted like the smell of cat food I thought to myself is there something wrong with me? But everyone else agreed with me. It used to be so good and come to find out they switched to a cheaper food company where they get their food. It is so horrible I will never step foot in there ever again! My town has all been agreeing with me as my neighborhood has a post about it and Tracy all feels the same way as I do! It won’t be long before they have to shut down bc there customers are very unhappy! The management doesn’t care and that’s where it starts! Shame on you Juan and Laura!!

The place looks great! They’ve repainted the walls and made a big improvement to the drinks area, now with a self-serve setup similar to the Concord location. It’s a nice upgrade.

However, I noticed that with the new drink system, many customers are no longer tipping the servers. It’s easy to forget that, even though we’re getting our own drinks now, the staff is still working hard—cleaning tables, removing plates, and keeping things running smoothly.

Overall, it’s good to have this buffet back. The changes are subtle, but the experience is still solid.

Had dinner there tonight and someone found a roach in the buns. They kept service going like nothing happened. Hmm.

I really loved the buffet and prices were good.
Food was excellent and the service was great! The mac and cheese needed a little less water but was good.
My favorite was the fish and the baked potatoes with chicken barbecue 😋 I loved my desert. I had a small piece of apple pie with vanilla ice-cream 😋

It was good but they didn't put new food out they were closing in an hour so they were trying to vacuum and stuff whike we were eating 80% of the food was empty even if I was closing i would keep putting food out there and when im getting charged full price all the food should be out. The worst part is the soft serve machine was empty ajd they weren't refilling it

The food was so so....they did upgrade the inside however got rid of some of the food choices.Like no jalapeños for the nachos.Also they neglected to tell us the air conditioner was broken on half of the restaurant, we found out this when our meal was done so we it was about 90 degrees where we were.

Time for a new kitchen manager and GM. Serving rotten baby corn, all the food look old, over cooked and sloppy. You guys ruined the Golden Corral name. Staff is nice tho.

I'm not a fan of AYCE buffet. My iced cold tea tasted water downed and it was lukewarm. The salads were okay. The only food I enjoyed were the spring mixed salad, fried okra and the strawberry jello. Nothing to write home about here at Golden Corral.

The food is good, but there was very little air conditioning. It was very warm in there while the outside weather was in 98°. Also, one side of the restaurant's central air was out, so there was a fan. I didn't care to have to serve my own drinks.

Five stars on everything must javelin went on a perfect day. Not one issue I will go back.
