Nice local place. Dined in once few years ago but ordered takeout today. Donald sushi is okay. As well as firecracker- it's not spicy and lacking flavor. Vampire is really good and tasty. Jungle is good. Giant iland sincity were ok.

Delicious food. Cozy atmosphere. Really appreciate the service as they clearly told us which item is veg and which one has meat/stock in it. We had spicy edamame, futo maki and vegetarian udon. They were delicious. That was all the vegetarian menu, but its worth it. I will back soon for more maki rolls.
Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options like maki rolls and edamame. The vegetarian udon was great. We were told the miso soup has pork broth so be careful.

We walked in 30 minutes before closing and they told us we can only do take-out while people are still dining. The fish was not fresh and sushi flavors were mediocre. Please do not come here expecting to dine within 30 minutes to an hour prior to closing.

I've been here a few times, and the food has always been good, and so has the service. However, on my most recent visit, I had a few concerning things happen.
The biggest for me is that I found a chipped off piece of ceramic in my food. (See pics)
This was also my first time ordering a bento, and I was disappointed by the portion sizes for the price. Mikasa has bigger portions at the same price, and i like their salad dressing a lot more.

Wonderful restaurant wonderful staff. it’s like going to grandma’s house. We stopped here after a long drive near our hotel. Ate food until we felt sick. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was perfect. I recommend the miso Ramen.
