Matsuyama Restaurant (Matsumoto Sushi)

10/10 I love their sushi!

All food was cooked and prepared as ordered. Authentic Japanese.

Nice quaint little place sushi is good apps are good. Not super busy when I went and super friendly service.

So nice with service delivery and its simple, clean but inviting atmosphere! The bento boxes are my favorite and I also love the gyoza! Half the time I can’t decide on ordering the rolls instead!

You can’t go wrong with the sashimi- but it’s also hard to mess up sashimi since all you have to do is cut the fish- but the rolls are horrible. The rolls were soggy and tasted like old wet rice and tasted nothing like what was supposed to be inside. I would give them an A for trying but trying isn’t enough when I paid over $70.

We love this restaurant. The sushi is good and the service too. Years later and we still love this place!

This was too bad to give even one star. I had to throw it out. Now, I only had tempura, but tempura is pretty easy to make, you know, flour, water, etc. They must have used concrete mix because it was unbelievably hard and tough. Tried removing the coating and even the vegetables were sad and old tasting. I threw it out and kicked myself for trying another bad Tracy Asian restaurant and wasting my money. If a restaurant cannot make a decent tempura, they don't have the ability to make anything right. This was dangerously bad, like, what did they use for that tempura coating? Don't waste your time and money.

This is my go to place for sushi. I’ll usually have veggie tempura and volcano roll. They both taste amazing. This is a simple and classic local sushi restaurant!

Best Japanese restaurant in Tracy, super fresh food, always attentive service. I have been going to the restaurant for 9 years, the owner and his family work together, wonderful atmosphere.

We usually go to their spot in Discovery Bay, but with DB closed Monday? Gave Tracy a shot -- and we were NOT disappointed!

We were very happy Tracy had the same Fresh, high quality fish and all out favorites from the same menu.
