The go-to place in Tracy for kabob. Everything on the menu is outstanding. Huge portions. Haroon makes you feel like you are part of his family joining them for a meal. Have eaten there many times over the years. Always a wonderful experience!

I’ve been here a few times and every time I leave, I think to myself, “I should come more often”. Food is flavorful, fresh, and juicy. Steak kabob is tender. Shrimp is fresh. Rice (even the brown rice) is delicious. I don’t know what they use for the house ice tea but it’s different and refreshing. Worth checking out.

We ordered to go and there was a bit of a mix up when ordering and got 1 extra plate of food and got charged all 3 orders, we didn’t realize until we got home and they were already closed. We called and left a voicemail and the owner was extremely understanding about it and helped us out. We loved his customer service. My husband and I always get 1 chicken plate with half and half rice and 1 chicken and steak plate with half and half rice. The food is always extremely delicious here! Would recommend to anyone to come!

Had two bad experiences with this restaurant , owner is rude and greedy once he demanded for a tip and even followed us to the parking lot to ask for a tip . Despite this incident I gave him another shot and even took my whole family for dinner , he said they were closed an hour before the posted time . The owner is very rude

Wow! What a find. Great food. We split the mixed grill (all proteins we perfect) and added the eggplant (bonrani banjan) and spinach side. The banjan was a meal unto itself! Perfect for any vegetarian looking for a main. Very nice staff and very comfortable environment.
Vegetarian options: We got the spinach and eggplant dishes as sides. The eggplant in particular was amazing and could be a meal in itself

I ordered the bolani and chapli kabob combo. I got the food and couldn’t wait to have it. I got home and the food was an absolute disappointment. The food was insanely overcooked to where you couldn’t even cut into the chapli and the rice seems like it was cooked ahead of time and it tasted funny. About 2 hours later, I started throwing up. So thank you to the restaurant for serving me precooked food with an overcooked chapli kabob that had no flavor at all to it. Never again will I be returning to the restaurant.

Before visiting Tracy, I heard that there was good Afghan food and was very happy with Maza Kabob House. Ordered takeout. Portions were very generous and served 3 different days of meals for 2 people. We ordered the Bolani (pastry stuffed with potato and spices) which was delicious, especially with yogurt and chutney. Borani Banjan (eggplant with yogurt) is probably my favorite Afghan dish and did not disappoint. And of course had to get the lamb shank (which is a must in my opinion if you’ve never tried Afghan food before)- it comes with delicious rice with carrots and was a large portion. Good food from this spot!
We randomly picked this spot while passing through town. What a wonderful surprise! I ordered the Teka Kabob, and this was the best kabob I’ve ever tasted. Tender beef cooked to order. Perfectly spiced, and plentiful. The brown rice was amazing. Nice green side salad, and they also brought us a tasty chickpea appetizer salad to start (complimentary). The only disappointment was the “naan” bread, more of a flatbread, it was dry and uninteresting. But with all that rice, not needed. My wife ordered the Mazaa chicken wrap. The chicken was grilled and nicely spiced, the wrap itself was a very tasty lavash bread (not pita). Service was friendly and prompt, and the chef came out to ask if everything was satisfactory. This is a sit/down restaurant, table service, not counter service. Next time we come through Tracy we we definitely be coming by here!

The service was great, the young lady serving us was very friendly and energetic and enthusiastic. However, the owner and older man was a bit grumpy. The food was decent, a little pricey:The mixed grill was great - the maids were tender and flavorful. But the wraps were terrible in my opinion.
