This little place is quaint, welcoming, and (most importantly) the food is excellent.Very much recommend stopping in.Dietary restrictions: It's Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food, so there are options but they will be outside what you may be used to. But gluten free options at very least will be available.

This Halal-Afghani eatery ranks in our top 5 World wide, only second to an eatery in Halifax, NS. We stopped in for lunch after a vet appt for our dog whom we had with us. Naturally not to disturb anyone we ate in their outdoor area. They we very courteous and even brought our thirsty dog water in a bowl?. We both had the Chopan grill mix kabob which included on-the-bone Chopan, teka steak and chicken kabab served over pallow perfectly seasoned saffron rice. All the meats were perfectly cooked. Even the well done my wife prefers, very juicy. Its nice to have a cook that knows how to cook meat well done and still be juicy. A simple garbanzo(chickpea) salad was served with naan bread prior to main service. It reminded me of my moms kidney bean salad. We also had traditional Afghani Firni, a yolk-less milk cuatard for desert and Persian style baklava. Both were excellent. Service was good too, careful to check-in on us just enough to offer great hospitality. We were so hungry we forgot to take photos.
I have the worst experience in my life, very poor management,I am not recommending to anyone.

The grill meat are really tasty. Like others that have mentioned, the meats are flavorful and juicy. The best part is you can make your own combinations upon request (they didn't mention it on the menu). The beef kebab is exceptional!The owners are very nice too. Gave me a fresh spice jar and warned me it is spicy.I would come again hungry!

This place is absolutely wonderful. Eating this food made me so emotionally happy. It’s rare eating at a restaurant, you get that feeling of pleasure the food gives you. Usually you eat, it tastes good or just ok and your full. This meal though, it hit me. The presentation, the flavors, it was just so amazing. I cannot wait to come back again. I had the lamb and ground beef combo, forgive me, I don’t remember the name.

My boyfriend and I absolutely ADORE this place. It is our favorite date night place and the food is DELICIOUS. I love the chicken kabobs and my boyfriend the lamb. The restaurant is cute, cozy, and very clean. The owners are very welcoming and make us feel like family every time we come. I also am a huge fan of the chutney they make and make sure to purchase a container when I go. We highly recommend this place and tell others to visit.Parking: Never had an issue with parking always very easy

Before visiting Tracy, I heard that there was good Afghan food and was very happy with Maza Kabob House. Ordered takeout. Portions were very generous and served 3 different days of meals for 2 people. We ordered the Bolani (pastry stuffed with potato and spices) which was delicious, especially with yogurt and chutney. Borani Banjan (eggplant with yogurt) is probably my favorite Afghan dish and did not disappoint. And of course had to get the lamb shank (which is a must in my opinion if you’ve never tried Afghan food before)- it comes with delicious rice with carrots and was a large portion. Good food from this spot!

Definitely one of my favorite places in Tracy, food is always great, service pretty good so I definitely recommend it!!Vegetarian options: Wouldn’t say much about vegetarian options since I always get chicken or beef but I’m sure they have more than one vegetarian dish.Parking: There’s parking all around the restaurant so that’s definitely not a problem.

Got first time here to try some Food and the place itself is a masterpiece,so good food, so good environment, they help u with everything, and the lady who welcomes you,is so nice and the food is awesome and it was outstanding at taste and quality,cant forgot the green tea they serve us , everything was perfect definitely going back there soon , GOOD JOB
