I thought I would give this place another chance since I had a bad experience from the last time and I really like their Jerry's roll but that's about it. I had a bento picked up order w: Saba Shioyaki and tempura and it was the worst bento ever. First of the Saba was over done almost burnt so it was very bitter and omg the tempura batter was not even crispy, it was caky hard and overdone too, obviously they're not using panko. So the bento isn't appetizing at all. I don't I would ever come back again.

The food here is high quality especially the fish they use for their sushi. The service is polite, accurate, and fast. The ambiance when I went was really chill and quiet even when there's a bunch of customers too. I ordered their sushi, which was the California roll, unagi roll, and some other roll that was a unique and specialty for only this restaurant. All of it was great and amazing, and the designs of the sushi and how they were plated was cool. I highly recommend going here for sushi if you're in the area.

Just had dinner here tonight and it was delicious! I was supposed to meet a friend but they ended up being a no show. I had driven almost an hour to get here, but, despite my disappointment at being stood up, I had a VERY yummy meal! The service is FANTASTIC!! I highly recommend this place.

Okay, 2.5 stars, but we breaking even at 3 stars and here's why. They now have a system for to-go orders, good for them. Their service improved, nice to know. Wait time, not too shabby, pretty fast even. However, if you have a problem with anything, they truly don't offer any options and leave you hanging. Anyways, today is my Ma's Birthday and it's been a while since we came here, but the food was terrible. When I mean food, I meant the sushi and everything I had that was related to tempura. I would say 1 star, but giving 3 stars for how I feel overall about their restaurant. Mikasa chicken and their cherry pork chops are solid, 8/10. Bento is decent, family opts for their teriyaki chicken all the time, 7/10. Sushi. Don't do it. Average at best, 5/10 stars. Tempura, and I mean all of their food that has tempura. No joke, negative 3 stars. Tempura in sushi was cold and when you separate the shrimp, it just soo sad. Mixed tempura, almost the same problem, except for it being slightly warmer. Not a place for sushi. Maybe for lunch.
Nothing new love this place, love the Lathrop location love the Tracy location. Always has been good probably always will be.

ITT Roll was dry .Wanted to vomit. All I can say "it's alright" as they asked. I didn't want to be rude. Hopefully they improved. It was like 4 months ago. It's a shame because I pass by there sometimes. I get subway or something else without too much grease.

I'm surprised this place is still open. Dirty and cluttered restaurant, bad service, and mediocre sushi. Take a look at the fish in the sushi counter and you will see dried out and most likely old fish. I questioned whether it was just plastic fish, but you could see liquid on the paper towels that the fish was wrapped in. Edamame was cold, undercooked and had no seasoning.

We were there a couple of weeks ago. The service is always amazing, the food delicious and the ambiance was fine. I was disappointed , though, in the TEMPURA, for which they've changed the normally light, crispy, breading to an, assumably cheaper, crappier, heavier dough. IT WAS AWFUL!!! I always order a chicken terriyaki/tempura bento box but NEVER AGAIN will I order their NASTY TEMPURA!!!!! If I saw owner David there, I would have let him know right away!!!
