Happy to change my review if I get a response from the manager. The food was completely overcooked (M Sept 11th, Around 6pm). It was more like beef jerky than juicy pieces of meat. I didn't mind the longer than normal wait, but not it appears it was only because the food stayed on the grill longer than it had to.

First time we try this restaurant. The BBQ beef is thinly sliced, grilled, teriyaki flavor, over white rice. It is very good. Comes with a side salad with a sesame dressing that is also delicious. All for $12.44 after tax. It's a clean restaurant with plenty of free parking.Vegetarian options: The salad is a side dish, and the dressing is a sesame sauce that is really good.Parking: Lots of free parking, even some shade, in a huge mall.

I've been coming here every 3 weeks for the past 4 years and getting the island fire chicken. I order through doordash and pick up. They made it so you can't sub the cabbage for macaroni. It's gotten to the point where there's barely any chicken. It's all cabbage, Broccoli and onions, with two scoops of rice and a very tiny serving of macaroni salad. I complained through doordash and got a full refund. I can't justify paying $15 for a meal that's 90% cheap carbs and veggies, Barely any protein. I go to other Ono's in the valley and they give substantially more chicken. I'll never order from here again.

Food was cooked either too long or too much oil. Island white Fish with minor cabbage and cabbage and major roots. Fire Island Chicken cooked like a soup. Spectacularly disgusting- Tracy, Manteca, & Lathrop have the worst quality of food in the Americas.
FOOD POISONING! Avoid at all costs..Ordered yesterday noonish bbq beef n katsu for the wife. The beef was at first tasting weird like old cooked meat te warmed from days ago. And the katsu chicken was the same I live Hawaiian food n got to Ono all the time on the Bay Area but this location is no good.

You can smell the BBQ goodness across the way at Home Depot. Since we were in a hurry and it was early in the day, we didn't end up getting any lunch. Next time we were in the area, we ordered online for pickup. It was super- busy. We got the BBQ combo and the Kahlua pork combo so we can sample all the various protein options. Liked the short ribs, beef, Kahlua pork, and BBQ chicken. The chicken katsu had a lot of pinkness in the meat, as other Yelpers had pointed out. I really enjoyed the macaroni salad. It was light and has a slight tang. Not Ono's fault but the parking lot design made no sense - basically a maze for drivers.

Tight shared parking lot but larger parking spaces are available at neighboring lots that can accommodate mid size RVs.

After having greasy Hawaiian BBQ that made me sick, I lost my craving for it for years. But thankfully, this Ono Hawaiian BBQ did it right. We ordered to go and drove over 30 mins away. The BBQ Mix plate was perfect, tender, and tasty. Not greasy at all. Service was friendly, and the place the clean. Loved it!
