My food was wonderful! The waitress did not seem very happy, no small talk or warm vibes from her, but she did her job and efficiently. She was not at any point rude. She just did her job and even offered to let me sample the sauce from a seasonal dish that she had recommended to me, which is very kind of her. Food came out fresh and hot, and my coffee cup never emptied. I had the Fried Chicken Benedict, ordered it with poached eggs, country style red potatoes and extra sauce....
They have no senior menu which all the others in Modesto and Salida do. They said no senior menu but they give a senior discount. Paid for the break fast they diligent had all that the bayou breakfast has minus the bacon. Even with discount it’s a little more expensive.
We came in from out of town and wanted a variety of food bu5 breakfast and lunch. we picked the right one it was delicious and the prices are outstanding. Our waitress Antoniette I hope I am saying it right was Awesome great Service and food. San Jose Huckleberry .
