So much potential. Ingredients were so fresh. And the staff at lunch were very accommodating. I have an egg sensitivity but wanted the tuna poke over rice where most of the flavor is from the mayo based sauce. The chef recreated a the sauce without mayo which was so nice! The other staff member checked on us frequently and cleaned up our table. It's more of a pop in quickly type of place. Most of the drinks are in the fridge. They were cleaning their lemonade machines when we were there. That was disappointing but reassuring they do take care of their establishment. I read some of the other reviews about poor service. My guess it's hard to find reliable staff to work here and sometimes a new staff member ends up not being a great fit. Our experience was amazing on a weekday at lunch. Parking was relatively easy since there was plenty of street parking available. They also have a nice patio space both by the restaurant and across the sidewalk closer to the street. A great spot on a nice day to eat outside.

This place is awesome! Great service, great personal and yummy food!Thats what I expect and Popo's has exceeded my expectations today. They even brought us a little machine to scare the flys away and gave our dog delicious chicken. What else could I ask for? At Popo's we are VIPS. I understand that this place is catering to the diverse tastes. However, I think a regular grilled hamburger or grilled chicken sandwich would be nice. Maybe a few normal items on the menu may bring in more business. It's an honor to know it's Black owned.Parking: It's on 6th St. Is not easy to spot. You need to park and walk up to it. Signage could be better.

Food was a 3.5, but service was pretty lackluster. Like, unacceptably subpar. We couldn't get water refilled promptly, and our food took far too long to be ready. Once the food did arrive, then it was fine. The food was good and good portions. A little overly salty but overall, no complaints on the food taste itself.I would return another time if I didn't bring my kids. They were all sorts of impatient which made things very difficult. The waitstaff were a couple teenagers who were more interested in chatting than actually tending to customers' needs

I was craving a burger and was tired of the usual burger joints in Tracy. Opening up door dash I found this place and didn't think too much. But after the Popo burger I was greatly mistaken! This burger is literally the best burger on the market, the meat blend between wagyu and brisket make the patty so tender and juicy. It's sauces paired with tomato, grilled onions and bacon make this burger a tier above all the rest. Words simply can't put into perspective of how good this burger was. Come down here yourself and treat your tastebuds to a gift worth driving across the world for!
