Best BBQ sauce I've had in a long, long time. Great service, good to see someone take pride in a family restaurant. Edit: It's been nearly 10 years and still love coming here, still the best BBQ west of the Mississippi.

Good food, they cover it is sauce which I didn't care for. Greens were great, red beans and rice lacked some flavor. Shorters mom was there and she's a kick in the pants! Lol she made the experience! Also it's attached to the old school bowling alley so that was cool too

I need to get food here more often I love to get a plate of brisket with the bbq beans and the bbq spaghetti I need to try more sides and they’re meats are really good staff definitely cares about customers and food being served on point come by and get some food definitely recommend don’t miss

I ordered catering for a 130 person event. The chicken and ribs with the yams made you wanna slap yo mamma! The price on them makes this the best deal in town easy. If you're considering this spot for catering get it, my wife and i were getting stupid $20-40 per person plate quotes everywhere else. Here the owner walked me through what I'd need. The numbers were spot on, My wife and I, but more importantly our guests were real happy with the meal!

Today was the end of it. The owner is always sitting down with friends, never even greeting or paying attention to customers. I spent 68 dollars on some chiken thighs. Not one chiken leg. A rack of ribs and a small side of bad tasting pasta. I'll never go back there.

I had such a great experience at the BBQ spot! Their brisket is cooked with so much care and it's incredibly flavorful and moist. While I wasn't a big fan of some of the sides, like the sweet potato salad and baked beans, their meats definitely made up for it. I can't wait to try their other sides next time. The garlic fries were amazing, and their BBQ sauce is delicious. I'd give their meats a 5-star rating any day. Unfortunately, I had to go to another BBQ spot in Lathrop because Shorty's was out of their red meats, and I regretted it because the brisket was so dry. Next time, I'll definitely save my money and wait for Shorty's to restock. I highly recommend this place, and I'm looking forward to trying their green beans and Mac & Cheese next time. Their brisket is just too good to miss!

The place looks nice until you talk to the person that’s taking orders. Super rude, also my pulled pork was flavorless and the brisket was dry, really really dry. The potato salad tasted like expired. My first and last time here tbh. By the way the guy in the kitchen was super nice dude, maybe he’s the one that should be taking the orders instead of this other rude ass person
Great food. Big fan of the pulled pork plate, or pulled pork nachos. Located inside the bowling alley so it’s an easy choice for league night. Kids like the hot dogs, chicken strips and fries.

We love this place ,we aren't from tracy but been here several times. My husband works down the street at amazon and one day he forgot his lunch we drove trying to find him something ti eat he saw that place got me a tri tip sandwich and Mac a d chesse and him garlic fries and a brisket sandwich. I havw to say this is by far the best bbq place we have ever tasted . We will proudly keep coming to this place ,it's always clean and super fast at getting the food we spent around $34 for everything but trust me it is way worth the money my tri tip sandwich alone had so much meat and they smoke everything !! This is a must try and come back type of place next time we go we will definitely take pics !
