Her expertise really helped me make informed choices for both of us.
As someone who's half Mexican and quite the cook myself, I'm admittedly very picky about Mexican food—I was raised on my Guatemalan and Mexican grandparents' incredible cooking, so my standards are high. We're health-conscious diners who wanted to take a break from cooking tonight, and this restaurant absolutely delivered.
The quality here is outstanding—they were incredibly generous with the steak and brisket in our keto tacos, and the meat was perfectly prepared without any of the fat or gristle that plagues almost every other Mexican restaurant in Tracy. You can tell they don't use cheap cuts as fillers; the meat truly was the star of the show.
My burrito had the perfect rice-to-beans ratio without being overpowering, and the seasoning was spot-on—not oversalted like so many places. Cecy's customer service was absolutely impeccable throughout our pick up and questions.
I had no idea we had such a gem right here in town! The fact that they're the only Mexican restaurant in Tracy open late makes them unbeatable for late-night dining or when we're breaking a late fast. This is now our go-to Mexican restaurant in Tracy, hands down.

Food is not great but okay. The older lady next to the entrance and another lady behind the counter keeps staring in a disrespectful way and make it an uncomfortable experience. Theyre stingy about chips and salsa. The woman kept staring at me while I was taking chips from Salsa station as if they didnt want me to. Feels more uncomfortable than customer service. Clearly they have no idea about customer service.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We had them cater this past Saturday for an unforgettable day, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a horrible experience for everyone. Everyone got sick, and it’s unfortunate that all our family and friends were reaching out to let us know. To make matters worse, they don’t want to take responsibility for their actions. It’s ashamed.

I was somewhat excited to try this place after my sister found a TikTok video that made the food look delicious but unfortunately, my experience was far from that.
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. The stares from the older woman sitting at the door and another older lady with black hair in a high ponytail/bun were intense and unwelcoming. It felt more like judgment than hospitality. At one point, my sister simply walked up to politely ask the NICE (only nice person in there) young woman taking orders for a bag, and the lady with the ponytail stopped whatever she was doing and looked at us like we were a bother…. completely unnecessary and disrespectful.

As for the food…it was nothing like what we saw in the video. The fries were soggy, the tacos were falling apart, and the birria didn’t even taste like birra. To make matters worse, when my order was handed to me, I was told the plate was broken: “Be careful, it’s broke,” followed by a shrug and the lady walking off. No offer to just simply give a new plate.
For $56, and a tip I expected at least decent service and food that matched what was advertised. Instead, I ended up throwing it away. Very disappointing overall….👎👎👎

This place has great food almost as good as my grandma's cooking if your looking for some real Authentic Mexican food trust me I am Mexican this place is for you I recommend the birra tacos also the steak fries bring your appetite because the portions are no joke they also have 1.50 tacos on Tuesday give it a try you won't be disappointed

Love this place. We've been in Tacy for almost 3 years now and this is our go-to. I usually get the asada or pastor vampiros with two tacos on the side as well. I've also tried the birria tacos and asada fries and all were super good. Im super horchata-picky and really like their horchata. I would 100% recommend.
Oh also, when we were on keto, we got their keto tacos (Cheese shell) SO SO good and a nice treat.

This is not my first visit , however today was not satisfied with the quality of the meat on the tacos, even though they were some what tastefully , compared to other visits did not feel the wow , yummy ,OMG delicious 😋. Not sure why but it was just not there . Quiet place maybe because of the time 6 pm , I might give it another try in a few weeks .
