This place was great. There's not a whole lot of Mexican food variety in the area where I live, and at home I don't like to cook foods that all the kids and adults love, because nobody eat leftovers. I got a torta de asada, with everything, and my daughter got the quesobirria she's been bugging me for. Everything was delicious, fresh, and hot. The salsa bar has a good variety, but we are partial to the 2 green salsas, and lots of lime. We will definitely make this a go to spot when we are in Tracy again. We loved it all.

The food is great here, awesome service and great atmosphere, can be a little warm at times but I take it to go. Great family business, I have been eating here on and off since 2003, they are so good that we had them prepare the food for our wedding back in 2006, and I am so glad they are still around and still making delicious food. You need to try when you crave some delicious food and don't feel like cooking.
Unfortunately I'm saddened to have to give another unsatisfied review on Tracy's Food locations..This Taqueria Las Comadres was another disappointment!! Does no one put any care or joy when cooking your food? HOW do these places stay in business? I can't believe how disappointing this food was!! Cold, and obviously left overs, tortillas from the dollar store and they charge for refills on foundation drinks that they already over charge for!! Now I ordered the chill Verde, what a joke!! You kidding me, pieces of pork mixed with green sauce..Pork should had been fried mixed in a green chill sauce with onions,cilantro, chillies and add some pride and there you go..but not only was my plate disappointing, my family ordered tortas that were a even bigger disappointment!!..i dont even want to get into the portions for the $ they charge!!..is there any Ginuwine Mexican food locations here in tracy that actually care what customers think of there food?..again how does this place stay in business..never again!!

You can watch them cook your food and tell them what you want. I got the supreme asada fries and big pina. The portions were perfect. Nice ladies work here.
Was expecting better since this taqueria average four stars and the fact that this restaurant is located within a busy shopping compound. The elderly woman that makes the food is friendly unlike the cashier. She seemed agitated when I asked her where the salsa station was at and even more so when I asked her which salsa was of the mild variety. I ended up with spicy salsa despite her telling me that the one I had gotten wasn’t.

I am Mexican American. I bought the taco salad in a shell. Too much chicken which wasn't very tasty and dry. The salad shell was soft as opposed to crunchy. I had refried beans at the bottom which was borderline overcooked; almost tasted burnt. And then I got one little spoonful of salsa dribbles which again was not very tasty. 2 stars due to food.
