Yum!!! We liked the unique options available here. They seemed like traditional Italian items. It seems like a true mom and pop place. It was a great first dining experience in NYC. The outside seating was cozy and super cute. The food was delicious. I guess you can order online even while you're there for a discount on your order. We missed out on that.

You have to try it. Even got a jar of organic honey.

Very tasty food and friendly staff. If you get anything to go with coleslaw I would recommend either eating it immediately or getting it on the side. They do NOT skimp on the slaw!

Really nice place, we were able to meet big Joe & his lovely wife, they're Really hard working people and also very friendly, we order the red chilaquiles & the breakfast burrito and they're really freaking good and also big portions, highly recommended!

I am very picky and Big Joe was very accommodating. I got exactly what I wanted for a reasonable price. The portion sizes are very generous. I am very grateful for all the delicious food and amazing service! I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Seriously awesome. Great food, large servings, fabulous price. I ordered the El Cubano and it was about 16 in long. I could only eat half of it and it was the best Cubano I've ever had.

This place is my new favorite, huge portions, prices that are downright amazing, and it's delicious. The $16 challenge burrito could feed someone for a week, it's the size of my thigh (no exaggeration).Whoever rated 4 stars is nuts. Surprised this place wasn't packed full of people. The staff were also very nice, be sure to tip.The only possible con is that after finding this place loosing weight is going to be real hard.

Nice little hole in the wall food spot!Wanted to try a new breakfast burrito and decided on Big Joe’s.I’m pretty impressed by this breakfast burrito. It was quite large, and when I unwrapped the foil I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was cross griddled on the outside. Never seen that before on a breakfast burrito and I really liked it. They also put tater tots in the burrito which I’m an absolute s***** for. They provide you with two salsas (red and green). I like the green, not a fan of the red.My only critique is that it could have used just one more layer of flavor. If they put some chipotle aioli in the burrito as well it would have made it perfect. Still a good burrito though!Look forward to trying the burgers and some Mexican food next time!

Really good food and super nice owner! Portions are large and plentiful. Food is freshly made and reasonably priced. Just what was needed in our little town. Enjoy!!

This is by far the best Mexican food for the money in Tujunga, great service friendly people, the food is fresh and made to order. Best of all the portions are big this is definitely a place you should frequent.

Just ordered nachos from here & its bomb! My family & I used to get loaded nachos from a small place by our old house that closed down years ago. We’ve been looking for a replacement for it ever since. Found this place by my new house & it does not disappoint! This is gonna be our new spot & I’m glad they opened! Will be trying other items in the menu in the future. We ordered the beef nachos & the chicken nachos, it starts off as not spicy, but towards the end theres a kick to it, not sure why it was spicy towards the end. As a person who doesn’t really eat spicy, this was enough of a kick & not overpowering where i cant taste anything.

Tried the avocado toast, it was spectacular! Good bread, ripe avocado, and the perfect amount of dried cranberries and kale. I really like having a healthy breakfast option so close to home. Looking forward to trying the shrimp tacos next!
