Giamelas never disappoints! This is the second location I have been to and it's just as good as the Burbank spot. Get the large! Bring CASH! Excellent meats and bread. Everyone here is really nice too. Love the toppings!!

Giamela's is an old family owned chain with amazing pepper steak subs. I have been eating here since at least the early 80's, and unfortunately they've closed a few locations. Their subs are generously portioned and freshly prepared. Aside from their pepper steak, their meatball sub among others is classic. The atmosphere and decor is basic, but that isn't why you come here. Service is friendly.

They used to have the best pastrami's and pretty much every other meat but meats have gone down in quality lately at every restaurant and fast food joint. Because they have to in order to stay afloat they have to sell lower quality products and Giamelas is no exception. They used to be one of the best now they're pepper steak is the only good beef type meat that I like the pastrami taste like really cheap pastrami. I haven't tried Mario's in Glendale for a...
