The food was good, but the service was awful. A young Lady was in the back behind the counter, and when she brought out chips and salsa, I asked for one separate from the other 2 friends, and she never brought it. *More importantly, I was GROSSED OUT because I saw her licking her fingers while eating, and then she handed me napkins without washing her hands first. Then I saw her handling the tortillas when cooking, and she had still not washed her hands. Also, there were no paper towels in the bathroom. When the food was finally brought out by a guy, he only brought the 3 of us 2 forks and only 2 napkins (wrapped together), and didn't even bring anymore chips and salsa, or sauce for my tacos (until I asked him a 2nd time).

Excellent breakfast , service, and yummy masa used for tortillas. We ordered nopales con huevo, tacos de pescado, y tacos dorados de res. The huevos con nopales, beans and rice tasted similar to how a family member might cook them at home. The coffee was large size and served in a mug, and the tortillas were handmade with yellow corn. The space is cute with natural light, plants, bright colors, murals, historical photographs on the walls.

Worst service I've ever had in Sunland, I wanted to speak to a manager and they said there was no one I could talk to. They walked everyone out their food incept for me. My food wasn't fully cooked. I'm not sure why I got the service I got but it was not welcoming. The lady there started talking to customers about me and they started giving me dirty looks. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Sunland, I'll never come back here.

Found another great place for a quick bite. Totally recommend it. All tortillas are hand made, defenetly makes a big difference, the meats are well seasoned and juicy, and supper affordable. Spent like 15 bucks for a great meal.

HAND MADE CORN TORTILLAS. Iykyk. Small place but it never gets too packed as mostly locals and take out orders. If you're going to call in give it 10-20 minutes at peak times . As of the time of this review they have awesome lunch specials. I've tried the mini nachos, tacos of all varieties, burritos , torta, chilaquiles , chile verde pork, chorizo con huevo breakfast and that's just off the top of my head. They definitely keep me coming back, affordable fresh food, friendly staff, can't say enough good things

I love this local gem. Not only are the people who work here efficient and friendly, but the food is delicious and plentiful. There was one day I needed sour cream for a meal I was making. I take the bus and it was really cold. NONE of the local places carried sour cream (7-11, the SV Liquor Store/Market, Milans). I walked in and asked if I could just please buy a small side of sour cream. They obliged and my recipe was saved!

I stop by for lunch on Saturday. I had the costillas with chili. Pork. Worst mistake ever I got food poisoning been sick for the last three days immediately after I ate couple of hours after I started throwing up and diarrhea, I’m sure the food was not from the same day and was previously cooked and kept up in a cooler.

One of the hidden gems in Sunland/Tujunga. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Family ran, everything is fresh and cooked right there in front of you. The menu choices are extensive, everything looks amazing (they have pictures) and every time it's hard to choose. The restaurant is very clean and very nicely and authentically decorated, it feels like you are in a village somewhere in Mexico. Again, I have to say, the menu choices are amazing! They are also on Uber Eats!
