Great little diner for breakfast and lunch. Huge portions that are very reasonably priced. Possibly the nicest most personable waiter I've ever met working there. Bathrooms are out back in a little bit underwhelming. Food is a little bit as well. They don't use a lot of spices when they're cooking and it could taken up a notch for flavor. But that's not a bad dig, and would happily go again.

my wife and I love coming here on our Sunday breakfast getaway, they have GREAT COFFEE, and the service is also very good. they have a few specials and they are the way to go. We have very few restaurants we frequent, this is one.

Love this dinky old spot! Perfect for an easy choice for breakfast or brunch. I love their eggs benedict. Other dishes weren’t terrible but didn’t blow my mind either. Both of the servers here are super nice especially the lady!! Always happy to see her when i come in.

With its lovely menu and welcoming atmosphere, Sweet Cherries Diner in Los Angeles is a charming culinary refuge that has left me deeply charmed. I was welcomed by a warm and welcoming atmosphere as soon as I walked in, which laid the groundwork for an enjoyable dinner experience.Let's now discuss the main attraction, the cuisine. The menu of Sweet Cherries Diner is a lovely combination of comfort food and traditional American fare that appeals to all palates.

i’ve visited this place three times. 2/3 times i’ve had a bad experience. the first time the staff was not on top of things. we (me and my father) were given no utensils and were served cold coffee. there was also an issue with the pancakes. they tasted like bacon and even had pieces of it inside. the second time everything went smoothly and customer service was great as well with the food. this last visit was not any better though. our waitress seemed very rushed and forgot our order multiple times. we didn’t think much of it because we thought they were just busy(which they weren’t). we then waited a VERY long time for our food only to find that they had gotten our order wrong and there was a HAIR embedded inside of my sandwich. when we told one of the staff they seemed angry and took the food. we ordered a different item and when we received it everything seemed well until it came to the pancakes. there was ONION and BELL PEPPER cooked INSIDE of the pancake. and to put the cherry on top, we were overcharged twice.(i did the calculation with tax and everything and it was less then what we were charged) i’ve tried giving this place hope but i won’t be coming again.

Great old school diner in the neighborhood. Beats IHOP and Denny’s for breakfast. I’ve always had great service. Parking is behind the building and bathrooms are located outside, but you do need a key.Prices and portions are amazing compared to other places, especially chain restaurants. I’ve only come here for breakfast so I can’t comment on their other food.

Walking into the place I felt like a celebrity because everyone was staring which was very awkward, the waitress seemed annoyed that we were there and had little to no interaction with us other than taking our order, we both ordered the Sweet Cherries special which came with French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage and country potatoes which was a great deal for the price but the food was not good at all, no seasoning on anything so the only thing that had flavor was the bacon and sausage, I would not recommend this place to anyone especially if you’re visiting and this is going to one of your experiences choose somewhere else

I ordered the corned beef hash via DoorDash that's supposed to come with POACHED eggs. I got scrambled eggs. I can scramble eggs at home. I REALLY wanted the poached eggs. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and will probably NEVER order from here again.

Great nostalgic atmosphere of back in the day, greasy spoon roadside diner. The staff is very kind and welcoming, definitely not meant for vegans or anyone that doesn't really appreciate good American cooking... Highly

The food was good, however mine was cold so I had them reheat it. There was one very nice employee waiting on tables. They needed another employee imo. Typical clean diner coffee shop.Comfort food. Parking in the back. Breakfast served all day.
