Local food review:
Yesterday was a good day for me with my Chemo treatment so we decided to try Raised Food in Tulare for our first time. It was a very nice experience with very good service, excellent quality food and a wonderful atmosphere. I had the 12 oz Ribeye that was cooked to my liking and Pam's Beef short Rib was fall of the bone and very tasty.
If you want a upscale dining experience , this is a wonderful choice.

Been here 2 times both times ordered the same entree, switched it up with appetizer selection. Freshly made to order delicious food and take substitutes very easily which I love. As I’m a picky eater or should say I strongly dislike certain foods. Overall both times have had excellent service and the atmosphere is wonderful.

We celebrated my daughter’s graduation at Braised this week. It was our first visit and we could not have been more impressed. All 8 of us enjoyed our food - fresh, delicious, unique. The service was friendly and fast. The desserts were works of art! We especially love the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. The thoughtful design makes you feel like you are somewhere other than Tulare. It’s obvious every detail from food, service, and design, is meticulously planned and executed. We are so blessed to have this jewel in our town. The owners are also locals! Please support this wonderful family business. You won’t be disappointed.

It was a special experience. From our greeting from the host till we had dessert and got the check, everything was excellent. We had the shrimp agua chilies, lobster Mac n Chesse, pork belly, hot honey pizza, burger and nachos. Everything was cooked perfectly and creatively presented. The ingredients were fresh. The service was outstanding. Ambiance comfortable and it wasn't too noisy so I was able to talk with my guests. Try this place today.

I went here for my birthday. It was a perfect experience. Everything was excellent.
We had the shrimp agua chilies, lobster Mac n Chesse, pork belly, hot honey pizza, burger and nachos. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our compliments to the chef! The ingredients were fresh. The service was outstanding. Ambiance comfortable and it wasn't too noisy so I was able to talk with my guests. Try this place today.

The atmosphere was warm and romantic for me and my significant other, and the food was amazing with a flavor profile that is uniquely delicious for the area! I would've given it a 10 (or complete 5 stars in all categories) as this was one of the best restaurants I've tried in a long time, but the Lobster Mac n Cheese had a little too much oil in it - around 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil had pooled at the bottom of the dish after finishing it. Besides that, the light creaminess mixed with the crunch of the bread crumbs and a soft, tender lobster was divine! The lamb burger was juicy and flavorful with the hangersteak being well seasoned and the fries were so crispy; The Hot Honey Pizza was a major hit with my family at home as well! Delicious soda options as I got the Maine Rootbeer and my love had ordered a Mexican Cola, both were very good and paired well with the food we had ordered. Overall a formidably strong 9/10 and easy 4.5/5, thank you for the great service and rich food! Missy (I don't know if that's how you spell her name unfortunately) was absolutely wonderful and provided top notch service.

I have a hard time with the negative reviews. I discovered this jewel in 2021 and was impressed. I am an SF food snob by the way. Just got a chance to revisit this restaurant and I am so pleased with the food and service again. Please try it and make your own judgement. It’s worth it!
There has been a significant menu change and not for the better. The restaurant quality and preparation of food has gone down immensely. This was such a disappointment. My partner and I left after 20 minutes into our reservation. Unless something changes, I don't think we'll be going back. This used to be my favorite place to eat in Tulare.

Everything was great from the moment we walked in. Hostess was friendly and we didn't have to wait for our table. Waitress was also friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Couldn't ask for a better dinner date for Valentine's Day.

Recieved my steak semi warm and the fries that came with my meal were hard and cold, like they were made the day before and left out on a table all night. Could be a great place to eat but after that experience it's a no, to going there again. Then written on their menu, a 3 1/2% charge is added to your bill if you use a credit card?!!! Illegal in California for restaurants to do this!!! Complain when you revieve your bill if you go there! If you want a place that is similar to the items that are served there and the quality is a hundred times better, go to Heirloom in Fresno, you won't be disappointed.

Really disappointed in the food. The hush puppies were undercooked and raw inside, the risotto arrived room temp and congealed on top, the chicken pot pie more like chicken paste. However, we really enjoyed the beet salad and carrot cake. They were excellent!! We were perplexed as to how great a few things could be versus how bad all the entrees were. The manager and server were very nice as was the ambiance but we would not go back based on this experience.
