Cool Hand Luke's Steakhouse

We went for a birthday dinner. Our bill was outrageous! The food was absolutely mediocre and the service was not impressive. I really hated getting charged 18% gratuity and getting crappy service. The food took forever to come out, the restaurant was mostly empty. $30 for a prime rib sandwich, what kind of place charges that much and it not be super tasty!! I will not be taking our large family gatherings here anymore.

Food was so mis seasoned....so much black pepper in beans and steaks. Mushrooms/garlic on steak was not appealing at all. Looked old. Husbands broccoli was unseasoned and barely steamed. Dressings drenched on salads. Seemed severely understaffed as well. Even though nice, had one guy in saloon with the help of one runner. Atmosphere is cool, western theme, bust super sticky menus and happy hour leaflet crusted in sticky stuff. Beans cold by the time our entrees came out. 😔

Went before 6pm to get the special, steak and bake. Comes with salad or soup. You always get ranch style beans and fresh rolls

I really enjoyed my prime rib. Mile high cake w ice cream, rolls and will definitely come back. It's been a long time since I've been here and think since they first opened this restaurant actually.

The waitress was very friendly. Refilling drinks is always nice.

The steaks were made to absolute perfection. Our server Kimberly was so very friendly and helpful she was great. The atmosphere is fantastic can't ask for more.

We went to Cool Hand's in Tulare to celebrate my mom's 79th birthday. I believe we had the best server in the universe, Sandra (with the long, blonde braid). She had a full, busy station that night (Saturday, October 26), yet she took wonderful care of us, and we waited for nothing. The food and drinks were wonderful, the restaurant was clean and inviting, the entire staff was friendly and attentive (especially Sandra!), and the atmosphere was happy. We plan to come back soon.

Vegetarian options: I do wish Cool Hand's offered a few more vegetarian options. I ordered the nachos without meat.

Good as long as as our waitress isn’t pati the waitress, one time we were eating in the bar and there was a a couple a couple of well known Tulare residents, completely ignored us for over 20 minutes, my wife said that is dumb ,since then she will not wait on us , use to come in twice a week , now we have to check if she is working every time we come in ,

Today we didn’t sit at the bar because she was Rude when we went into the bar to get a table, she is very unprofessional , this happens every time we come in

We love coming to this place however today was the worst food we have ever had. Sadly the meat tasted very old and the red mashers were smothered with grease and tasted as if it was from a box. Never have I ever been so disappointed then I and my husband did today. Please fix this issue because I would love to come back if changes were made.

Had dinner in the bar area and I ordered side salad and soup.. the soup unfortunately was warm not hot and my salad was blue cheese but tasted sour..I ate there before and was amazing.. don't know what happened
