3 weeks ago they closed 30 min early that was upsetting especially after I called and asked what time do they close. Today I went in for lunch the food great but why is it that the girls are always mad I had a server ask me if I wanted any sauce and she walked away before I could respond and then I walk up to the register to ask for sauce I asked for 3 but even the manager had an attitude noone should feel uncomfortable asking for sauce especially after paying 30 dollars for 2 small meals. I got a burger and to add chili is an extra 4 dollars just to have it spreader on there very light . Least I could get is sauce without feeling uncomfortable after being robbed.

I've never been inside the place, I've always used the drive through. The food is good, I especially like the cob salad with honey mustard dressing.

Don't let the name fool you, my dears. Famer boys is indeed not a haven for peasantry. You'll find that the cuisine here is of excellent quality and the dishes are made to dine by the Devines. All is cooked on sight, and the taste is ABsoLUTEly intoxicating. My hats off to you, Farmer Boys. My only detestment is that I have not a bigger stomach.

I got a Big Cheese Box, it came with a double patty cheese burger, the meat was fresh the lettuce tomato and pickles were fresh. So delicious ! It also came with some of the best fries I've had in a long time, freshly made and so crispy! A fountain drink was included.

The chicken salad is very good but not worth the price or the long wait, since they only put 3 small pieces of chicken in it. For the price you pay there should be more chicken in it & you shouldnt have to pay for extra chicken that only gives you another 3 pieces. I wish they would also offer some crotons or cracker's on the side as well. The hamburger my husband got didn't have a lot of bacon like they claim it does & the bacon it did have was burnt & to hard to eat. The stuff that claims to have avocado in it, hardly ever comes with it. The grilled chicken avocado was horrible (the avocado was dark brown, the bread was soggy, the garlic butter is to overpowering & the bacon was undercooked). My daughter got the breakfast burrito & the eggs were still very runny after we asked for it to be well done but the hashbrowns were burnt not sure how they can burn one thing but not the other. Other then all that, it's a nice clean restaurant & I'd go back to try something else next time.

Update: service here is still not the best, someone in the kitchen still can't get the orders right but the food was a little bit better this time,it just wasn't made the way we ordered it which was very disappointing.

Had never had a bad experience here until today. The service was terrible. The employees and manager had the worst attitude and and were inconvenienced the entire time. The forgot items and brought food out cold. I would not be eating at this location again.

The only downside is the wait for the hand-crafted freshly-made food you order! Absolutely masterclass eating establishment. Good for sit-down or on-the-go. Delicious.

Always good food with good prices
UPDATE 5/2025
On my recent visit here, I was utterly disappointed. The portions have shrunk dramatically while the prices have increased exponentially! $25 for a sourdough chicken avocado sandwich, onion rings and an iced tea.

i visited first time in tulare and tried out the farmer boys fish and fries with one rings almost like 40$including a sandwich meal ….. the service was quick …presentation was very impressive but when we tried their onion rings they are cold and over fried … also the fish taste so bad too much oil i left my all food on the table … i don’t think i will again …

Everything was fresh , but just an idea. Can you guys add some seasoning to your Onion Rings & Zucchini Sticks so that people who like them and order them but can't eat Ranch dressing with them can have them taste like something? And the Onion
Rings breading was falling off eveytime I grabbed it to eat.
Just a thought. Also we went in there again and asked for extra crispy hashbrowns but they didn't get cooked like that. They were kind of muskie & didn't look done.
I told my husband & daughter to take them back but they were hungry and didn't want to wait.
My Husband ordered the California Omlete and it looked like it had Veggies & maybe some mix of other stuff in it. It only had a little bit of bacon in it.
He said you need to change the name. It's Deceiving. Will see when we go back again.
