This is a fun, exciting taco experience. The history, food, staff was better then my expectations!
The plane and hanger space are used in a very smart way. Outside there is plenty of covered seating with fans running 💨. Inside the plane the air conditioner is on and let me tell you on a hot day (99 degrees) it was so cool inside. I was very thankful for this. There was a TV and plenty of seating.
The staff, a young man & young woman greeted us on arrival and asked if this was our first time. We said yes and he gave us a quick tour of how to order and explained they have a buffet!! You can order at the window from the menu or get the buffet, then sit inside or outside. So plenty of seating.
Parking lot is big you can turn in from the street or ally way.
The food was good and the salsa yummy, not too spicy, very mild. The red sauce had a good spice level tho. We tried a taco asada, chicken quesadilla, chips & salsa and 2 sodas. It was average taco place prices but better atmosphere, Worth it!
This place really is next level taco experience, the details of the plane that were left in is nice to see. It would have been cool to be able to see more inside the whole cockpit but I understand the air conditioner needs to be somewhere in a tight space and I appreciated the air!!! 😊

I had seen fun reviews of the Flying Taco on TikTok and since we happened to be in the area for the long weekend we wanted to pop in. Such a cute plane with seating inside! Staff was super friendly and attentive. It was Sunday and they had an all you can eat buffet and we did that option. So delicious, the short ribs were cooked perfectly and the flavor was amazing! They had a great selection of food and toppings, little dessert bar and pozole and menudo. It all came with fresh made flour and corn tortillas! I’m sad I didn’t get any pictures of the food cause it was delicious

Took my family of 5 to the Sunday buffet. Found this place via TikTok. Buffet was amazing and included Pisole, Menudo, and fresh made flour and corn Totillas. Food was amazing and was all you can eat. Service was outstanding and friendly. Definitely worth the drive from Porterville and we will be back.

Not just a gimmick they have absolutely fantastic food! This is a super fun taco shop. Yes this is a real airplane and you can eat inside and see the cockpit. The plane was originally brought in here on a flatbed trailer. The tacos are delicious. You have to try them all This is an experience. You won’t forget. I highly suggest you visit.
Eating at Flying Taco was a unique experience and the food was worth the trip. We arrived at the gate, boarded the plane, cargo box seating set the stage for a fantastic time and enjoyed very good food. We were glad to have found this spot, unique in its setting made it fun and enjoyable for the family and friends. Definitely will return for those delicious original gorditas, tacos, flautas, pozole, and agua Fresca!

Didn’t see prices of food or receipt, someone got there after us got chips and salsa and we weren’t given any, got a shrimp burrito, 5 tacos and 3 drinks for $47. The food is basic good but not worth the price. Cool for a one time to eat in the plane or the buffet, otherwise i wouldn’t go again
