I had Melrose International cater the memorial service for my mother. Trying to find a caterer living out of state was tricky. I really lucked out in finding Melrose. The owners were helpful with deciding on a menu, made some great suggestions and boy did they deliver. The food was excellent. When they left, everything was cleaned up and perfect. I highly recommend Melrose International Catering and Bakery!

Rosalinda and William did an excellent job catering my son's graduation pool party. It was luau-themed so I asked for Hawaiian pulled pork sliders and sides. Everything was delicious! The meat was so flavorful and tender, the rolls were made from scratch and warm, toasted perfectly on the flat-top grill before serving, with a yummy slaw as well. She made a beautiful fruit salad displayed in pineapple and watermelon boats. All the fruit was perfectly sweet and ripe. Macaroni salad was yummy and not over-dressed like many do. They stayed to serve us buffet-style and kept the food warm/cold and protected from any flies, all included in the cost, so I had absolutely nothing to worry about as host and could enjoy the party with our guests. She even made accommodations for my mom and sister's dietary restrictions at NO extra cost and made my mom her own little gluten-free lemon cake. There was plenty of food and even lots of leftovers. I highly recommend Melrose for any event, they were professional, kind, very reasonably priced, accommodating and talented! A very good addition to the Central Valley!

Rosalinda took care of everything - from table set-up to dinnerware, waiters, food service, to take-down, was taken care of by Melrose. I was able to enjoy the evening with my family & friends. During this weird and unpredictable time, it was hard to find a place that will do custom cake/CUSTOM ANYTHING! I was giving up hope, but found out about this place by a relative. We are impressed with the professionalism, hardwork, and dedication that this company had put into the cake. My phone calls and messages were answered in a timely manner. It was sooooooo hard to cut into the cake. It was too cute to eat. The cake was a lemon flavor that had everyone wanting more. It was not too sweet or to bland, it was just right. I ordered a 2-tier finding Nemo baby shower cake, and it turned out so adorable! Rosalinda was very communicative and made sure all my requests like making the inside pink for the gender reveal and getting the decorations perfect were met. Everyone loved how the cake looked, and the vanilla cake with chocolate filling tasted great too! The pricing is also very affordable compared to every other place I called.

I read about Melrose online and it really piqued my interest, such a wide variety of cuisines all from one place. My parents are quite fond of German food and there aren't that many places in the area to get that type of fare so when I saw their menu I knew I had to try get some. I was a bit worried that since it was a catering menu that an order of 4 wasn't going to be enough. I emailed Melrose and got an immediate response that said they didn't have minimums. In order to minimize complications for them, I asked for four of the same dish, the schnitzel. The price was really reasonable for amount of food we received. Giant portions of schnitzel and potato salad, and a nice green salad to boot. I also ordered a Bee Sting cake and everything was wonderful. I've already place my next order and am looking forward to trying out yet another cuisine. German, Filipino, Italian, Mexican, Portuguese, and Vegetarian, can't get better selection than that! Next up is the Chicken Adobo and I'll take pictures and post them next time. I should have thought of that for this one, but it looked and smelled so good, we just ate it right away. If you live in the area, I encourage you to make contact with them and give them a shot, they will impress you with their food and their service.

I don't always review catering companies we use, but when I do, they are dynamite. Eat well my friends. Ok they make something called Jack Daniel's Ham, omg I couldn't get enough, it is amazing. Just get it. The end. The turkey is excellent. Get yourself some of their mashed potatoes with some of their yummy gravy goodness like a volcano for your potatoes. Ok there is something else you must eat as well. What is it do you ask? Well either their Apple Pie or Pumpkin Pie; now you mustn't have it with out the love added on top. What is this love? It's their Jack Daniels whipped cream. I'll let your mouth water and salivate on that. All you need to know is, you want to try it. Their food doesn't taste like some mass market food. Their food also reminds me of grandma from the south or Midwest style home cooking. I highly recommend this place. Eat well my friends, eat well.

We had researched a number of bakeries for my daughter's wedding who doesn't like cake :). We chose to go with Rosalinda at Melrose Homemade Baked Goods for that same reason- her variety of flavors and unique homemade style and texture were what sold us. Her willingness to provide delicious cakes at a very reasonable price were also factors. So much so, that in addition to ordering the bride's cutting cake we ordered a couple of sheet cakes to serve the guests! Due to a miscommunication with our florist on my part, Rosalinda went above and beyond and did a great job at the last minute in putting on the final touches with the fresh flowers. Looked wonderful!
