I have ate at a few good places. This is the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time the biscuits and gravy are off the hook. The Chile Verde omelette is very good. The potatoes were perfect. They got really good salsa. The owner is very friendly. The waitresses are very friendly. Everyone’s very friendly. It’s very relaxed.

My husband and I love to try new venues and it's food. Have new experiences and we found the Salles cute little restaurant. The food was very good, great customer service. It was the first time there. I loved the history of when it first started. It was very interesting. We will come again. Thank you. (I'm a short person and the tables were a little high for me. That's the only inconvenience i found).

The restaurant looks nice and it is a cool local café. The food is a little expensive, but nothing unusual for cafes. The service was good and it isn't too loud or crowded. The food was good and I enjoyed my experience. Only thing is that restaurant felt slanted slightly, which made sitting and eating a little uncomfortable, but either than that, I had a good experience.

Really cute place. You go for the atmosphere. The waitstaff is so sweet and fun. They are a reason to come back. The food was diner food. It’s what you expect. lol.

Feels like you’re having breakfast at your mother’s. The Family environment makes it an even better place to dine at.
Salles Café is one of those places that just feels like home. Every time I come in, I’m greeted with a smile and treated like family. The food is consistently great — the French toast is crispy and delicious, the home fries are perfectly seasoned, and the chicken fried steak is legit comfort food.
What makes this place stand out even more is the touch of Portuguese flavor on the menu — something you don’t see every day in Tulare. It gives the café its own unique vibe.
The place has an old-school diner feel that I love, and the staff really go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. Whether you’re meeting a friend for breakfast or grabbing a bite solo, Salles never disappoints.
Highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t already. It's a true local favorite for a reason.
One of the best atmospheres and cafe places around, especially the waffle breakfast. The waitress is extremely nice and good, great place to have a nice breakfast.

This place was abysmal. It’s very clear that this restaurant has a group of regular customers that have probably been coming here for decades and those customers, I’m sure, receive excellent service. Our first time here, we were ignored. After 15 minutes, we had to flag someone down to even place an order.
Restaurant was not particularly busy, plenty of staff working. Once our order was placed, we waited 30min with no refills. After 35 a hostess brought us a bill and said “no rush”…we said “we haven’t even gotten our food yet!” After another 10 minutes we left cash for our drinks and left hungry.
The place is also very openly conservative, Fox News playing on the TV. I am not particularly fond of businesses being openly religious or political, no matter what side they’re on so I’m mentioning it.
Waited with my son and two grandchildren for 15 minutes before I had to get up and ask somebody to take our order then we were presented with the check for the food that we hadn’t even received yet. I hadn’t received any coffee refills. No one came to check on us. No one said your food will be right up in a nutshell horrible service. I’ve managed restaurants for 40 years. and that was the worst service that I’ve had in a very long time. I can’t evaluate the food because like I said we didn’t get any but I did notice that they charge 3% for using a credit card so I have to pay them 3% for them to take my money no thanks folks plenty of other really good breakfast spots in Tulare and Visalia back to Chubbys we go
We recently saw a story on our local news about Salles Café on “J” Street in Tulare, CA. We had to try it! So on our way home from Fresno we stopped by for breakfast. Are we Happy we did, the food was well worth the stop. De-Licious! Hubby had eggs, hash browns, bacon, biscuits and gravy. I had their breakfast burrito…2 kinds of salsa yummm! The coffee cups were kept full-our dining experience was enjoyable and relaxing. We were half way done with our meal when we realized we didn’t snap a picture, Oh well! This place is hoppin’ and a local favorite too!🤗
This is a great place for breakfast and lunch. If you are looking for great tasting food with large portions this where you want to go. I have eating there scene the mid 70's when I was working on my family's ranch and still eat there. Always good food.
Saw David Valladeo today at salles cafe. Was truly a one of a kind experience. He was so kind and stopped by everyones table to say hello and have a conversation. 5 stars!
