When we arrived we were greeted by the owner he was very kind and welcoming. Food was so delicious. We ordered the catfish with two sides. It was a bit chilly out but the owner turned on the heater for us. Wish I would have got a photo of the food before we devoured it. We will return soon.

This restaurant is a must, the food is arguably the best soul food I’ve ever had. While here we tried a variety of the menu and everything was amazing. The atmosphere is also great, and feels as if you’re having a meal in your own backyard. Not only that but the chef is one in a million. He came out numerous times to speak with us, really just sealing the whole soul and family environment.

Truly one of the most wholesome dinning experiences. The chef greeted us and made us feel sooo welcome. The food is beyond good. I’ve had lot of greens in my life and these are by far the best I’ve ever had. Food phenomenal. Service exceptional. The atmosphere delightful and makes you feel as if you are just hanging out in the backyard. I will be running back next week. I can’t even post a picture because I devoured my food.

This place easily has the best collars greens and the cabbage and greens were amazing, too. The chef came out and helped me pick my food as it was my first visit, he was very friendly and welcoming. The tri tip sliders were fantastic as well. I'd highly recommend this place.

We are first-timers The food was absolutely amazing. Hometown vibe was awesome The owner and the Chef the Rocc and his wife were great hosts. Sample deep fried ribs and chicken and a dessert we're given as samples they were delicious can't wait to see them again.

My son and I stopped in tonight. I absolutely loved this place. The only time I get to eat soul food is when I visit my sister in North Carolina. But now I’m Tulare bound. People are wonderful food was excellent beyond my expectations. Plan on visiting more. Recommend this place to everyone
