The sign they have is 100% correct: it's not fast food but it's worth the wait! Everything was great! We went in with 7 people and we all left full! Amazing food, solid portions, and the owners are AMAZING! Don't think twice, just eat here!
When we arrived we were greeted by the owner he was very kind and welcoming. Food was so delicious. We ordered the catfish with two sides. It was a bit chilly out but the owner turned on the heater for us. Wish I would have got a photo of the food before we devoured it. We will return soon.
This restaurant is a must, the food is arguably the best soul food I’ve ever had. While here we tried a variety of the menu and everything was amazing. The atmosphere is also great, and feels as if you’re having a meal in your own backyard. Not only that but the chef is one in a million. He came out numerous times to speak with us, really just sealing the whole soul and family environment.
