Went in for lunch, ordering birria and lengua tacos (which were not on the menu but they offered them?) and a chicken burrito.The birria tacos were a bit bland and the tortillas, even in simple beef tongue tacos were really greasy and stale. The chicken burrito barely had chicken- it had a kind of fried chopped crunchy chicken bits similar to bacon bits, and the whole thing just tasted like burnt bits.The price was ok for the food but the flavor and quality wasn’t. The place was ok and the service was fine too!

I hadn't been here in a while. Now its under new ownership.The place has no ac in it so beware. The staff is nice and cordial.The food is full of flavor and freshly made. The salsa has a nice kick in it. So if you can't handle spicy, not sure what to tell you. I will be back for sure.

As someone who grew up eating Mexican food, this is one of the few places in Tulare that can make authentic Mexican food. The Wet Burrito is spicy which is a good thing as Mexican food SHOULD be spicy. The employees state the salsas are homemade, which is most likely true as it doesn't taste canned.The service is good, took about 10-20 minutes for 2 burritos and 4 tacos (They were also making delivery orders.) The employee/s were friendly and didn't come off as rude. (Unlike other places with lethargic employees) The ambience is alright and something you'd expect from a restaurant with not much traffic. (It feels like a Mexican home if it were turned into a restaurant.)

Super cute little Mexican restaurant across from true Fairgrounds that has some amazing and authentic Mexican cuisine. I went with the Quesabirrias and they were perfect. Just the right amount of meat and cheese and the consommé was spot on, I look forward to trying more of their food in the near future!
The tacos are the best around here. But they are charging incorrectly. We have been charged wrong multiple times. There is no prices anywhere and receipt appears to double tax.Kid-friendliness: It's a hole in the wall and kids can be themselves and there's a jump house sometimes.Parking: There's no parking issues but it's a small area.Dietary restrictions: They work with you.

We got a wet burrito and birria tacos. The beans,rice and carne asada were all extremely bland. The birria tacos were also bland and the tortilla was really hard/stale. So I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

Victor was really nice and friendly. Food was super good and so is the horchata. They got some music going on to go with the whole place. Coke check this place out if you like Birria tacos, I came back for days once I found this place. Unfortunately I'm not a local so I will be missing out until I come back to Tulare or nearby areas. Worth a stop if you're passing through on the 99.

What a great spot!! Quesabirria tacos so good I've come back 3 days in a row. Quesabirria is so trendy right now, and it's hard to find a place that does an excellent job preparing it. Taqueria Encino has the best Birria I've had in Tulare. The staff is super nice also. Every time I come to Tulare I will make it a point to get their Quesabirria.
