Felt like I was being discriminated right when I walked through the door. Host thought I was lying about my daughter age when I asked for a kids' menu. The server only came around once and never checked to see if we needed anything, I had to flag another server down to get utensils because they never gave us any. Will never come back to this location.

I’m giving Black Bear Diner (BBD) a five star rating because of the beautiful hospitality, from all the staff, especially Misty (General Manager) and Kathy. Misty as a GM is a priceless addition to BBD, she has a positive and powerful vision for the future success of this amazing family restaurant and in addition to the sustainability thereof. Kathy serves you as you were a King and Queen. Also, the restaurant is not COLD as compared to IHOP and Dennys. When I walk into the two aforementioned restaurants I immediately want to walk out due to the frigid temperatures. The prices for the amount of food you get is very generous. I am a big fan of the restaurant theme with a cabin woods feel the entire family can enjoy. The merchandise sold is cute. There is specials for NIGHTS so bring the family. I personally recommend the GRIZZ and the CHILAQUILES dishes.
