The search is finally over! This place has the best biscuits and gravy in the 209 area. These biscuits are made fresh daily and you can definitely tell. They are tall and fluffy and quite filling. the gravy is smooth and creamy I can’t say it’s the best gravy around but it complements the biscuit who is the real star of the show. All the other menu items we tried were delicious as well. portions are generous and prices are on par with most other breakfast joints. Service was excellent, fast and friendly even on a bustling Saturday morning. Atmosphere is nothing fancy just straight up cafe fare with a classic local vibe. This will absolutely be in rotation for breakfast and I am looking forward to trying the lunch menu

Server was overwhelmed and could barely contain her annoyance when improperly cooked food was pointed out. If they can't cook delicate fish it shouldn't be on the menu. I still tipped close to 50% cause I'm not a heathen but it's a good thing I don't live near by because I'm not coming back. The girl at the register (not my server) couldn't look at me or interact with me in a civil or friendly manner as I was paying to leave. If your looking for rude service and sloppy improperly cooked food this place is perfect.

Got our food cold, ask to warm it came back cold again. Way over priced for the amount of food served order the biscuits and gravy ask if it had sausage or bacon in the gravy waitress said yes sausage when it came it was plain white gravy with salt and pepper. Worst food we ever had. Personally I won't be going back not worth a 50.00 bill for sure. Will not be recommending anyone there. Huckleberry and Dennys serve better food and no where near those high prices .

You should try their breakfast steak and egg, which is very delicious and in comparison to other places, it's affordable. This place, I believe, is privately owned that's why still is the best place around. Highly recommended.

Ate here twice was very very good Breakfast and lunch was amazing Staff was excellent… Went back this afternoon!! After 3 months Omg what happened. Staff was different waitress slammed my hubbys’s coffee down and spilled it on the saucer. Previous staff all spoke English and Spanish l. I only speak English but they were excellent and gave great serve . I had the BLT ( bacon was so hard it broke my front tooth) I was so embarrassed. Waitress finally came around and saw our $100 Bill sitting with the check And ask us .. do you want change back ? Hello our bill was under $40.00 I looked up and saw the ceiling covered with dust that was hanging down.. please clean your ceiling.. I think for now I will eat at home..

One of my favourite local diners. I stayed in Turlock for 7 weeks and made sure we came here at least once a week for breakfast. The service is outstanding, the atmosphere is perfect for that old school diner feel and the portion sizes of the meals are generous. Everything we tried on the menu was great, especially the fall season special pumpkin pancakes!!!
