I’v been eating here for many years, but things have changed… I mostly order a combination plate but for the last several orders the rice is mushy and the noodles are to thick no flavor I,m going to stop coming here for awhile, hope things change….

I ordered online and got combo plates they only gave me the chicken by it self literally nothing else I showed them my proof and yet they told me they could do nothing about it and didn’t care they just didn’t wanna make it wouldn’t go again used to be good it’s horrible now and service is just as bad

I usually go to the Golden dragon on West main.... Moved to this area, and tried here for the first time. The lunch price is insane,n less that $10?! I got there garlic chicken with chow mein and my husband got their orange chicken with fried rice. It came out to like $19.50 after tax! Good deal!
The garlic chicken was soooo yum. 9.5/10 Chowmein 8.8/10 Orange chicken 6.7/10 could be more orangie Fried rice 6/10 seemed...mushy? Kind of seem like white rice with fried rice ingredients but the rice wasn't freed all the way it was still yummy and had a good flavor I think this guy was just long enough
Over all 7.5/10 the garlic chicken is literally to die for
AND the lady offer they phone? SO SWEET! And she was great In person! Are you good she noticed my hubby was riding a bike and double rapped everything!

I’ve been to this place a few times now, and it’s always a treat! The orange chicken and Kung Pao chicken are my favorites, along with the fried rice and chow mein, which are also really good.

Ordered the Hunan Chicken, one of the specials of the day. The portions were generous. There were fairly large pieces of chicken that were fresh and flavorful. However, I thought the meat and vegetables were drowning in too much sauce. The sauce was overly salty and on the soupy-side. The pork fried rice had little pork and the chow mein very plain. I ordered to go and food came out fast. The restaurant can be described as a clean, small, and cozy place with a casual vibe. Perhaps I need to try other dishes on menu to give a more favorable view on the food.

my godson picked this place for his birthday lunch and man was it disappointing, everything I tried was bad. From the overcooked crab rangoon (thought it was going to break my teeth) to the egg rolls that were literally empty shells deep fried. Rice was clearly reheated and flavorless, chow mien was dry and the only flavor it had was ginger and the mongolion beef main entree was so bad with broccoli that again was over cooked. Seemed to me they just served reheated stuff from the day before (and maybe the day before that). I sent my lunch back. Their lunch prices are crazy high even if the food wasnt garbage. The server was super nice, which is really the only positive thing I can say about China Cafe in Turlock.

Cant even take an over the phone order, i called and was placed on hold, all i could here was the lady arguing with someone else and taking orders from guests walking in, i hung up after ten mins of being on hold, tried calling a little later and they had the phone off.

The food is great but you have to get to the garlic chicken and the sweet and sour pork before it cools off too much.Sweet and sour pork dries out.I love the garlic chicken but once it cools off too much it gets hard to eat.Don't get me wrong. It's great. Just saying
